The Huawei Mate 10 Pro didn't have the smoothest US launch, partly because Huawei tried to stuff its Best Buy listing with fake reviews. But before that mess emerged, Massdrop began offering the Mate 10 Pro at $699.99, $100 off MSRP. Amazon, B&H, and Best Buy are now matching that price. At its $800 MSRP, it would be surprising if the Mate 10 Pro didn't have top-notch specs. Luckily, it doesn't disappoint with its 6.0" 1080p OLED display, a Kirin 970, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, dual 20MP and 12MP rear cameras, an 8MP selfie-shooter, and a 4,000mAh battery. The display is lower-res than the competition, but its 1080p resolution, along with the large power pack, make for great battery life.Amazon, B&H, and Best Buy are all offering the phone with the same $100 discount, but depending on where you live or how quickly you want the phone, all have their own benefits. Amazon provides free two-day shipping, but B&H doesn't charge tax unless you're in NY or NJ and offers store pickup from its Manhattan location. Best Buy also offers store pickup. The Play Store now supports reward tiers for apps in the pre-registration phase, allowing developers to entice potential customers to pre-register for more goodies once the app launches. It's not a new concept, but we've never seen it on the Play Store before.

We just posted a deal on the dual-SIM versions of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ yesterday, but now the Note8 has been discounted by the same seller. The current price of $699.99 makes this cheaper than both the S9 and S9+, and this is the lowest price we've ever seen for a dual-SIM Note8.

Ever heard of Samsung Movie Maker? It's preinstalled on many Galaxy devices, but it's pretty well-hidden; it only shows up after you begin editing a video through the Gallery app. However, the service will soon be discontinued when Android P rolls around, so a few of you might have to find a new video editor on Android.

Nest's offerings are among the best in the business, but their MSRPs aren't very competitive. Luckily, both the Cam IQ Indoor and Cam Outdoor are being discounted by B&H. The Cam IQ Indoor is down to 9, making it the lowest price we've seen for it thus far, and the Cam Outdoor has fallen to 9.

Until yesterday, Google had been offering anyone who purchased a Pixel 2 XL $100 in Google Store credit. But now, a new offer for the Pixel 2 XL has taken its place: a $200 statement credit when financed with Google Store Financing. A free 18W charger will be thrown in even if you don't choose to finance.

Comcast's switch from XFINITY TV to XFINITY Stream about a year ago was met with lots of criticism for a number of reasons, and based on the latest Google Store reviews, users still aren't very happy. But here's something that might cheer you up: fingerprint authentication has been added for parental controls.

Hot on the heels of Big Red and John Legere and co, Sprint is now pushing the Android 8.0 Oreo / Samsung Experience 9.0 update to its versions of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. That makes it the third major US carrier to do so, leaving only AT&T (and US Cellular, if you count that).

Developers who wish to grant free access to paid content on the Play Store usually do so with a promo code. However, these codes aren't globally available, with Google instead having a list of 25 countries where they are. Google does add countries occasionally, though, and this time around, Argentina, Chile, and Peru have joined the list.

Verizon models of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ began receiving their Android 8.0 Oreo updates two days ago, and now it's the T-Mobile models' turn. Samsung Experience 9.0 doesn't make any huge changes, at least to the end user, but it does add a few tweaks here and there and smooth the software out a bit.

Samsung is a big fan of including or charging a little bit more for bundles with its newly-debuted phones, as is evident from the free Gear 360 or 128GB + wireless charger combo for the Note8, the free Gear VR and optional $99 bundle for the S8 at launch, the later free Samsung Entertainment Kit for the S8, and more. Now Samsung is offering two optional bundles for the Galaxy S9 and S9+: a $99 'S9 Ultimate Bundle' and a $49 'Power Upgrade Bundle.'

Currently, the only languages supported by Google Home are those for the countries where the smart speaker is officially available. However, Italian has been spotted as an option, meaning that Google should soon be bringing the Home and Home Mini to Italy very soon.

Nest has two products that will begin to ship today: the Hello video doorbell and the 'Nest x Yale Lock.' We knew that the Hello doorbell would begin to ship out today, though the completely keyless Nest x Yale Lock is a bit more of a surprise.

Less than a week ago, Verizon became the first US carrier to push Android 8.0 Oreo to the LG V30. Defying its stereotype as the slowest carrier for updates yet again, Big Red has become the first one in the US to release 8.0 Oreo to the Galaxy S8 and S8+.

We've been hearing that Spotify is aiming to produce its own hardware for a few weeks now, and this latest news substantiates those rumors. A native voice search is being tested in the iOS app, pointing towards future integration with a Spotify-built smart speaker.

Galaxy S9s began shipping out a few days ago, though Sprint customers who ordered their phones via Samsung's official site are having some issues. For some reason, Verizon SIM cards are being sent out with Galaxy S9s intended for Sprint, and it's causing quite a bit of confusion.

We've heard quite a bit about the upcoming HTC Imagine, but we simply assumed that it'd be dubbed 'U12' since its predecessor was called U11 and there doesn't seem to be a smaller model in sight. It turns out that the phone may actually be named U12+, despite the fact that there may not be a regular U12.

Southwest Airlines doesn't often push major changes to its Android app, with the last one being a redesign from back in November 2016. But this latest update adds fingerprint authentication, which makes logging into secure apps a lot less of a pain. It's kind of a late addition, but at least it's here now.

Subways and buses may be convenient for most of us, but that's often a different story for individuals who can't get around as easily due to mobility needs. In an attempt to make public transit more accessible for that portion of the population, Google is introducing new "wheelchair accessible" routes in Maps' transit navigation, starting with six major cities.

Just as it did after the unveiling of the Galaxy S8/S8+, Samsung has published the kernel sources for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. But this time around, the company has gone ahead and released the code for the Exynos and Snapdragon models at the same time.
