If you couldn't get in on Google's Black Friday deal on the G Watch, or Best Buy's deal that disappeared so quickly that we didn't even get to post it (update: it's back, but might go in and out all day), now you've got another chance - and this one's even better. Groupon is currently selling the original LG Android Wear device for just $79.99, an amazing $150 off of the retail price.

Though the hardware was mildly refreshed back in June, Google Glass has been running on much the same internals for the better part of two years. With the rise of Android Wear, at least some of us were wondering whether Google still intended to bring its head-mounted wearable system to retail at all. According to the latest report from the Wall Street Journal, Google is indeed planning at least one more version of Glass, this time running on an Intel chipset.

AirDroid is one of those indispensible tools that goes on a new phone or tablet the minute I set it up. And it's only gotten better in the years since it debuted: the second version of the web-based management app allowed users to access their Android device for files, contacts, photos, and other functions from any browser with a login system. With version 3, just published as a beta app, the developer has added a stand-alone desktop manager for Windows and OS X.

Look, if you're a dedicated Android user, eventually you're going to spend at least twenty-five bucks on apps, games, movies, music, books, magazines, or in-app purchases in the Play Store. At least I hope so, for the sake of the developers. That being the case, why not save a little bit by taking advantage of Best Buy's generosity? Right now the retailer is offering 10% off on purchases of Google Play gift cards.

Kodi (formerly the Xbox Media Center) isn't the only piece of software attempting to find a new image. One of the most popular Android remote control apps for the media manager, Yatse, is getting a major visual overhaul. Version 5.0, now available in a Google+ beta, is showing off a shiny new interface that takes more than a few pages out of the Material Design playbook. Check out some comparison shots below.

God games are particularly well-suited to mobile platforms, where the top-down interface lends itself well to touch controls, and the size of the screen - not to put too fine a point on it - helps with the deity fantasy. One of the more popular and unconventional latter entries in the genre is indie darling Godus from 22cans, published on the Play Store by DeNa. You can grab the free download now.

OK, so perhaps the latest version of the Galaxy Note tablet isn't impressing you, thanks to that overly large 12.2-inch screen. If you'd like a deal on something very similar but a little more manageable, B&H Photo has the 32GB version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition (man, I'm glad they did away with that naming scheme) for $329. That's a whopping $270 off of the price of the 32GB model at launch last year, and still $170 off of Amazon's current price.

While owners of Nexus devices have been getting Android 5.0 updates all over the place for the last few weeks, Google Play Edition owners have had to wait a little longer. The first GPE device to get an over-the-air Lollipop update seems to be the LG G Pad 8.3 - or as it's affectionately known around here, the LGGP83GPE. Users on Twitter and XDA are reporting at least some OTA updates, and you can grab the ZIP file for a manual flash here (direct link).

There's been a bit of a kerfuffle with Cyanogen, Inc. today: conflicting interests in the Indian market mean that its relationship with OnePlus is probably over. But the development of the community-based ROM continues, and owners of the Verizon variant of the LG G3 can see for themselves tonight. The phone now has a nightly build of CyanogenMod 11 (Android 4.4) of its very own, and more are sure to follow soon.
