Not to be left out, it looks like the Galaxy Nexus Takju is getting its own 4.2.1 update just after the 1.1MB package started hitting the Nexus 7 and 10.

If you've got a Takju Galaxy Nexus and don't feel like waiting around for the OTA to find its way to your device, you can – as always – install it yourself.

It should be noted that this update package is only meant for Takju – that is, the Galaxy Nexus available in the Play Store. You should also be certain that your device is running 4.2 JOP40C before installing this update.

If you're like many would-be customers still searching high and low for a Nexus 4, you're likely ready to pounce on any source that's got the device at a price lower than the astronomical offerings over on eBay.

Daily Steals Mobile, looking to end your Nexus 4 woes, is selling the 16GB version, unlocked, for $499 with free shipping. That's higher than the Play Store's price for the same device, but on par with T-Mobile's off-contract price.

Before you scroll down and click through to the "Get it now!" page though, it should be noted that – besides charging more than the Play Store – Daily Steals often takes six days to ship orders, with products sometimes arriving weeks later.

Just the other day, we caught sight of a deal at Best Buy on a SanDisk Ultra 64GB microSD card. The class 6 card was a steal at $43. If you were hoping for something faster or cheaper though, Amazon's got a deal that brings you both – a 64GB SanDisk Ultra class 10 card for just $41.99. What's more, the card comes with its own SD adapter.

EA and Hasbro, adding another entry to Monopoly's long history, recently released another version of the classic board game – Monopoly Millionaire. If the name of the game isn't descriptive enough, it's a game of Monopoly where the first player to reach $1,000,000 wins.

To reach $1 million, players are encouraged to "trade properties on the sly, force powerful deals, and risk it all in a dash for a million in cash." We are, of course, talking Monopoly cash here, but the concept is still fairly compelling for a mobile board game.

Rather than Chance and Community Chest cards, players will utilize Fortune or Millionaire Lifestyle Cards.

Melesta Games' Toy Defense, a tower defense-style game that's already found a home on iOS, made its way to Android today, bringing with it a familiar tower defense dynamic with turrets and enemies pulled straight from your childhood toy chest.

If you've played other tower defense games, you know what you're in for with Toy Defense – defend your "tower" using various upgradeable turrets, weapons, etc. as wave after wave of enemies march through. While Toy Defense doesn't invent a genre, it's a polished, thoughtful TD game that will undoubtedly please fans of the genre, while adding a few unique touches.

When I first covered Pixlr Express a few days ago, I noted that the presence of a photo editing app was odd in Autodesk's lineup of powerful tools. Having developed apps like ForceEffect, 360 Mobile, and AutoCAD WS, you'd think Autodesk was marketing to power users who want to design, edit, animate, and engineer from the palm of their hand. Still, Autodesk's first foray into the mobile photo editing world – Pixlr-o-matic – was a hit. So much so, it appears, that Autodesk brought to market Pixlr Express.

Despite its name, the only thing "express" about Autodesk's new tool is the speed with which users can edit, manipulate, and overlay photos using a wide library of tools (when I say "wide," I refer to its selection of 600+ effects).

Android's tablet-optimized app selection being what it is, we're always excited to see a useful new app get revamped for bigger screens. It's true that a separate app package isn't technically necessary for transitioning to a great tablet layout, but Amazon has taken a step in the right direction, having just released Amazon Mobile for tablets to the Play Store.

If you've used the regular Amazon Mobile app, you know what you're getting with Amazon Mobile for tablets. Easy searching, reviews, purchasing, and account management – in tablet format.

The app certainly looks promising, and supports both landscape and portrait browsing, but right now it's only compatible with "Android OS 4.1 & up and 7” 1280x800 resolution screen," meaning the Nexus 7.

About a week after the Takju variant of Samsung's Galaxy Nexus got its 4.2 update, it looks like the same is rolling out to the Nexus' Yakju variant. The update (build JOP40C), for those not willing to wait, is also available for manual download and flashing (check the link below).

It should be noted that this update is meant solely for the Galaxy Nexus Yakju – that's the international version not from the Play Store – and your device should be running build JZO54K before you try to install the update.

For those interested, Google has also posted Yakju's 4.2 factory image here.

If you've been waiting around to pick up Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1 (or just want to follow in the footsteps of the Brussels Philharmonic), Amazon's got a deal for you. The online shopping giant is offering up Samsung's 10" slate for a discount of $50 across all models. That means the 16GB (white and grey) version will cost you $449, while the 32GB variant (available in grey only) is $499.

Readers might remember that we were none too impressed by the Note 10.1 at review time, but the slate definitely still has its audience. In case you've forgotten what the Note 10.1 has to offer, here's a quick rundown of its specs.
