Back at CES, Asus showed off a follow-up to the not-so-old Zenfone 4 Max, which was a phone that ultimately disappointed me. Attempting to capitalize on the love for big batteries, the Taiwanese company decided to spin off the Zenfone Max line into its own device family. These phones will offer large batteries and many of the latest smartphone trends for budget prices.

Microsoft pushed out an update to its OneDrive Android app, bringing the version up to 5.7. It adds the ability to restore recently-deleted files in case you accidentally sent them to the trash. It also comes with full Oreo compatibility, which notably includes notification channels and background battery optimization support.

It's finally Friday! The weekend is so close, which means that I'm back around for the last roundup of app sales for the week. Today's list is short-ish, but like Wednesday's, it has some good options to choose from. Enjoy your weekend, and I'll see you all on Monday.

I remember fondly the days of obsessively watching for the best deals on the greatest microSD cards for my phone. I usually used the expandable storage to store custom ROM stuff, like GApps, SuperSU, nandroid backups, and so on. That fervor has long since died down, but if the same fire that burned in me is still going strong in you (or you just want a ton of mobile storage), then listen up. Amazon has SanDisk's 400GB microSD card for $179.99, an all-time low. $70 off a card more massive than I could have imagined in the olden days is a deal worth noting. This Class 10 (U1/A1) card supports 100MB/s transfer speeds to keep files moving quickly or apps loading fast (thanks to Adoptable Storage). It's hard to imagine filling 400GB on a microSD card, though my music library gets pretty close. For many, that amount of storage may seem like overkill, but you can never have enough space in which to keep all your digital stuff, I say.Whether this is for your phone, tablet, camera, or whatever else, $180 is a great price for this card. Personally, I love dark themes in apps. Oftentimes, one of the first things I do is switch to the Night or Dark Mode in every one that supports it. Since I know that I'm not the only one out there that wants my apps to reflect my soul, I gathered together thirty to help some of you get started on your path to the dark side.

In a world full of ways to express oneself, sticker packs and emoticons remain some of my favorites. Being a user of Telegram, I often take advantage of the stickers there (my favorite is the Geralt of Rivia/Witcher pack). SwiftKey is continuing to add new features via its Toolbar. Now users can look for two new items: a set of emoticons from Skype and a Halo sticker pack.

Welcome to Wednesday, the halfway point for the week. I'm back again with another round of app sales that is a bit more exciting than Monday's. Though shorter, you'll find a few goodies in bold.

Once again, we're at the start of another week. For some of us, the weekend was far too short, but such is life. Anyway, it's time for our first roundup of app sales. The list heavily leans toward icon packs, so I hope that you're ready for that.

After almost a year, it looks like Google is once again rolling out inline app changelogs in the Play Store. This handy feature shows you exactly what's new right in the updates screen (assuming the dev has written a proper changelog, which isn't always guaranteed), which is definitely a positive thing.

The first week of April is coming to a close, which means that we have one more round of app sales to get through before the weekend. Today's list is small-ish, but it includes Final Fantasy IX (all by itself, for some reason). Otherwise, it's a pretty boring collection, but that's how it goes sometimes. Anyway, enjoy your weekend and I'll see you all next week.

Welcome to Wednesday. Another round of app sales is in order, and after Monday's, today's is a nice break. Still, there are some good options in here, so be checking for those. Peruse at your leisure and I'll see you all on Friday.

Welcome to the first Monday of April! I hope that you all had a good Easter and that your week has started off well. Today, I have for you a much bigger list than usual – this large number is likely due to Easter sales over the weekend – so without further ado, let's get started.

Shortly after coming to the U.S., the Huawei Mate 10 Pro is already seeing a nice discount. You can pick up this phone for $649.99, $150 off MSRP, from Amazon, B&H, Best Buy, and Newegg. Honestly, this is a great deal. Both Ryan and I reviewed the Mate 10 Pro, so be sure to check out our thoughts on it. Basically, we both came away with the consensus that this is a very good phone. The Kirin 970 SoC and 6GB of RAM make this phone fly, the 12MP RGB+20MP monochrome Leica camera system takes fantastic shots, and the 6" FHD+ 18:9 AMOLED display is nice. Oh, and the phone itself is quite the looker. The 4,000mAh battery goes forever, making the Mate 10 Pro one of the longest-lasting flagships available (especially in the U.S.).$650 is a good price for the Mate 10 Pro, if you can handle EMUI — software remains Huawei's weak point. Take your choice on which retailer to buy from; Amazon has Prime, B&H has no sales tax outside of NY/NJ, Best Buy has in-store pickup, and Newegg is... well, you get the point. Both the grey and gorgeous blue colors are on sale (not the $1200 Porsche Design variant, sad panda). Just head over to the source link of your choice below.Source: Amazon, B&H, Best Buy, Newegg

Telegram X, the sort-of beta/feature testing alternative to the main app, received its March Update, adding a slew of new features. Things like multi-account support, image preview in notifications, and so on make their appearance in this latest version. There's a lot to get through, so get ready for a long 'un.

After posting about its impressive 200 million user count, messaging service Telegram has been dealt another blow. The Iranian government is reportedly preparing to block the platform, citing concerns of "national security."

Taking a step away from fitness-oriented audio, I have recently spent some time with Phiaton's BT 150 NC noise canceling earphones. This is aimed at traveling professionals who want to have great noise canceling without breaking the bank. Phiaton manages that with the $150 BT 150 NC, all while providing very good sound quality and comfort.

We don't often see much into the world of ultra-rugged smartphones and tablets as "normal" consumers, though we catch glimpses from time to time from the likes of CAT and such. These devices take many steps beyond the Galaxy S Active series in terms of durability. Since AT&T seems to be fond of these phones, it and Sonim have announced the XP8 for use on FirstNet. This phone looks like one solid piece of technology and, despite its middling specifications, it will cost a whopping $699.

Bluetooth audio products take many forms at several price points, offering us the consumers multiple options to meet our respective needs. While some can go for the top-dollar, high-end items from Bose, others may need something under $100 or even $50. Affordable audio is potentially lucrative, especially when a customer can go find them at his or her nearest Walmart. Growing up, the only name of true note I knew in this particular market was Skullcandy, an edgy company set on providing decent-ish headphones and earphones that looked nice/cool, but didn't cost a whole ton.Now we have come to another brand trying to grab the same type of consumer. Wicked Audio has an expanding product line of wired and wireless audio, all of which target different price and use case demographics. Today, I have the Endo, a pair of on-ear Bluetooth headphones under $50 ($44.99, to be precise). Unfortunately, the low cost and design are the only true redeeming qualities — even for something of this price point, I am disappointed. Poor build quality, a hollow, boring sound profile, and consistent-yet-unimpressive battery life all leave me with a sense of disatisfaction.I urge you, dear reader, to look elsewhere for affordable wireless headphones. There are plenty of good options out there.

Welcome to the final Friday of March, and with it, the last round of app sales for the week and the month. Today's list feels similar to Wednesday's, with some excellent games on sale. Those will be bolded down below, meaning that I highly recommend them. Whether or not you celebrate Easter, I hope that you all enjoy your weekend. See you all in April.

We're halfway through the final week of March, so let's celebrate with some app sales. There are plenty of notable games to check out, including Monument Valley 2, a spectacular puzzle title. Enjoy the big list today, and I'll see you all on Friday for one final roundup.
