We often talk about Ultimate Ears, aka UE, and its speakers here on Android Police, both in deal alerts and reviews, but the Logitech-owned company announced yesterday that it's introducing a new way to enjoy your Bluetooth speaker. It's called myBOOM Studio and it's basically UE's version of Moto Maker for the Boom 3.

Another week has begun, so here are some app sales to get you started. It's a fairly standard list today, but some of you might find something to enjoy. Otherwise, I'll see you all on Wednesday.

It's March 1, so what better way to welcome in the new month than with a round of app sales? Today's list is quite small, so it shouldn't take you very long to get through — there's even a notable game in bold. So have fun and enjoy your weekend.

Shortly after news of Pie incoming for the Razer Phone 2, the company pushed out an update to the camera app that enables the option for 60 frames per second video recording.

Late last week, I turned on my Mate 10 Pro out of a cynical curiosity to see if Huawei had pushed out Pie/EMUI 9 yet. Much to my surprise, the phone alerted me to an update waiting to be downloaded and installed. Turns out, it was the very Pie one I'd been hoping for. Since then, it appears that it's getting a wider release, though an exact time frame is difficult to pin down.

Welcome to Wednesday, everyone. February is wrapping up, so I have the last round of app sales for the month. Today's list features some goodies, so be looking out for them. Otherwise, enjoy your day and I'll see you all on Friday.

Making sure that your entire house is blanketed in the ever-so-important waves of Wi-Fi is a huge pain sometimes. Though routers nowadays are much, much better than ever before, their range of coverage is not always sufficient. That's why mesh networks have risen in popularity. And B&H has a deal for you to get started on keeping everyone and everything in your home connected — right now, you can pick up a two-pack of Linksys's Velop AC2600 mesh routers in white for just $99.99, half off the $199.99 asking price.

When asked about podcasts and which app to use, I immediately recommend Pocket Casts. It's been my go-to for many years now and it's only gotten better with time. As things have changed and evolved, how we consume our favorite media has shifted somewhat. Smart speakers and assistants are all the craze these days, so Pocket Casts is adapting to that by introducing an Alexa skill.

Telegram received a new update today that bumps the app to v5.4. This brings some new quality-of-life features, including autoplay for videos, control over automatic downloads, and alternative logout options. As always, you'll find the official changelog below.

IT Security is an ever-evolving field – or a game of cat-and-mouse, if you'd rather –  with either new or improved standards to make sure we keep our data safe. One of the more recent developments has been the FIDO2 initiative, which promises secure access to websites and applications without the strict need for passwords. And one of the announcements coming out of MWC this year is that Android is now FIDO2-certified.

It's already the final week of February, so here's the first round of app sales! Today's list is quite small for a Monday, so have at it and be sure to pop by on Wednesday.

At MWC 2019, Lenovo announced its new Android product, the Tab V7. The pitch here is that you'll get all of the benefits of a tablet along with normal phone capabilities like calls, texts, and data. It's priced to impress, that is if you're in the market for an over-sized phone with budget-tier specs.

Back at IFA 2018, we managed to grab a quick hands-on with Lenovo's Yoga Chromebook 4K. Intended for those who like large 15.6" laptops and want an ultra high-res display, the Yoga Chromebook C630 packs some impressive specs that put it right up there with the Acer Spin 13 and Pixelbook. All of that comes in a beautiful chassis for under $1,000. Suffice to say, we were impressed.

Well, it's finally here. MWC is upon us, and so things are about to get crazy. While some of the AP staff are partying it up over in Barcelona, I'm here to bring you the final round of app sales for the week (I know, you can thank me later). So enjoy what's on offer today, have fun with the all of the new announcements over the next few days, and I'll see you all on Monday.

Bluetooth speakers are extremely commonplace these days, but one of the more popular brands is Ultimate Ears, aka UE. The cross-shaped volume buttons have become somewhat iconic, as well as instantly recognizable. Though a few years old, UE's Boom 2 is still a solid choice for some portable beats and you can pick up a factory refurbished one up for yourself on Woot for $59.99.

I've come to love using my Pixelbook over the last few months, thanks in part to support for Linux applications. Though it's still in its beta stages, I find it incredibly useful. Interestingly, it seems that Google is looking to address one of the limitations: the lack of audio playback for container programs. Based on a some official Project Crostini documents, we might see support for this in Chrome OS 74.

Facebook has definitely earned its sour reputation, but the company has been scrambling in the last few months to try to regain some of its users' trust. Today, it announced some new location control settings for Android (and iOS), an update which aims to give people more control over just how much information they share with the social network.
