USB Type-C is great and all, but the transition from USB Type-A to Type-C can be kind of a pain. Fortunately, there are some devices on the market that can help bridge the gap between the old standard and new generation of USB connections. One of those gadgets is the SanDisk Ultra 32GB dual USB Type-C and A drive. As its name implies, it has a Type-C port at one end and a Type-A port at the other. The 32GB flavor of the thumb drive will normally run you $30, but today you can grab one for just $14.99.

What would you say if I told you that you could earn a five dollar Amazon credit without even getting out of your chair? You'd like to know how? Read on and I'll tell you exactly what you need to do to get your Amazon fiver (I'm just going to pretend that you didn't read the article's headline).

V-MODA announced the newest member of its audio product portfolio today, the REMIX, the company's first Bluetooth speaker. It's available for purchase starting today and retails for $300. Measuring in at around 8 inches long and 1.6-1.9lbs (depending on which finish you chose), the speaker is portable, but not petite. At $300, the REMIX is at the top end of the price spectrum for mid-size Bluetooth speakers but V-MODA feels the price is justified by top-notch sound and a couple of unique features.

Portable batteries are great for keeping your phone juiced up on the go, but many aren't very quick at delivering their precious electrons. Some do have a QC 3.0 port, which is great for certain devices, and a few others have a USB Type C port with 5V/3A which is perfect for a completely different group of devices. But what are you supposed to do if you need both methods of fast charging? Well, you could carry two different batteries, or you could buy a RAVPower 20,100mAh battery that has both outputs in one tidy package.

For those of you T-Mobilites that don't dig the LG V20, I've got another deal for you to check out. The big LG plablet isn't the only phone that's currently on sale at Magenta Mobile, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are also marked down to the same killer low price of just $360. Yup, both are that price, no premium up-charge for the more svelte and curvaceous Edge.

Don't skip this article T-Mobile subscribers, this is one of the best deals I have come across for quite some time. T-Mobile has discounted the very capable and well-regarded LG V20 to just $360, down from $769. We were excited about this phone going on sale for $500 just a couple of days ago, and this is a way better deal! On top of a killer price, LG has a separate promotion running for people who purchase an LG V20 (or G5) through T-Mobile. Buy one, and submit your receipt through their promotion website and they'll mail you a free 720p LG MiniBeam portable projector which sells for 0 on Amazon.

Cloud storage is great. With it you can safely tuck away all your important photos, videos, documents, and other digital possessions in someone else's server and access them at any time. Any time you have an internet connection, that is. For people who fly often, have a limited data plan, slow internet, or a severe case of paranoia, local storage still reigns supreme. If you need a lot of it for a reasonable price then look no further. Today, you can grab a 256GB SanDisk Ultra MicroSD card for just $135 at Amazon. The card carries the name and reputation of one of the best manufacturers in the memory card business. An SD adapter is included with your purchase and the card is backed by a 10 year warranty. Before you get a chance to say that the price has been lower than that before, let me cut you off – I know. We posted a deal for the same card just last month when it was on sale for $120. Chances are that most of you missed that deal though, since it went OOS almost immediately. At $135, this card is still a good value and $45 less than its normal street price of $180, even better, it's available for purchase. If you want an even better price and don't mind sacrificing a fifth of your GB's, then you can also take a look at the 200GB model at Amazon. It features the same 90MB/s read speed, but only costs $69.95. I'll leave that decision up to you.Source: Amazon

If you have purchased a Google Home or any of Amazon's products with Alexa on-board, chances are that you are itching to add more connected devices to your residence that can be controlled with your voice. If that's the case, then a smart thermostat, like the 3rd Gen Nest Learning Thermostat, should definitely be on your shopping list. Particularly since you can pick one up for 15 percent off at Target this week.

We've been calling Bluetooth headphones, 'wireless headphones' for quite some time now. However, truly wireless headphones are a fairly new phenomena. This new generation of completely wire-free headphones are more liberating than ever, but come with a couple of trade-offs from more traditional Bluetooth earbuds. One is battery life, which tends to be shorter, and the other is price, which tends to be higher – but not today. Right now you can pick up a pair of Samsung's Gear IconX headphones for only $79.99 at TechRabbit, that's almost half off.I haven't tried the Gear IconX myself, but the reviews over at Amazon are a little mixed. Reviewers praise the headphones comfort and sound, but complain that the battery life is short (around 3 hours, which is on par for truly wireless headphones) and the advertised activity tracking feature doesn't work very well. With all that being said, with free shipping and 30 day returns at TechRabbit, they are still worth taking a chance on for 80 bucks if you are wanting to try a pair.

I don't do scary movies very well. I get way too emotionally involved and when something creepy jumps into the field of view I scream like a small child. Scary movies are bad for me, but scary video games are even worse. Probably because in a video game you have some control over the events transpiring, and those events are seldom good. Today one of my favorite games in recent years is on sale, LIMBO. It's at my threshold for creepiness and is worth far more than the $0.99 you'll pay for it today. For the small number of you unfamiliar with the game, LIMBO is a side-scrolling adventure story, released in 2010, about a boy who is searching for his sister in a dark, bleak, black and grey world, where everything wants to kill him. Seriously, this child has it rough. Spiders, saws, spikes, and other bad things are all impeding the path of the boy in search of answers. Add in truly spine-tingling sound effects at high volume and you'll want to play this one with the lights on.

New cars these days are awesome, especially those with Android Auto or other connected technology. Seamless integration with your mobile device is a dream come true for techies and makes a daily commute or family road trip a much more pleasant experience. That is, if you can afford to drive a nearly brand new car. For the rest of us plebs, driving a car new enough to have a CD player in the dash is a bonus. The good news is that there are several workarounds for connecting to a car's audio system if an AUX port or Bluetooth connection isn't available. One of the simplest solutions is an FM transmitter. Plug the transmitter into your charging port, connect the plug into the headphone jack of your phone and then tune your radio and transmitter to the same unused channel and boom, you're in business.Aukey, one of my favorite manufacturers of cheap, yet well-made, phone accessories has a sleek little FM transmitter on sale today for half off its normal price of $13.99. In addition to powering the transmitter, the car plug also is equipped with a USB port with 2.1A of power, which is respectable if not remarkable.

Aukey has a power strip on sale today that has four outlets and four USB ports for just $16, that's 20% off the normal price. The four USB ports will save you from wasting precious outlets on USB chargers and clear up room for much more important items. With 2.4A of power in each port your tech will charge at a decent clip. Those aren't the fastest speeds you'll find in a charger, but they'll do just fine for keeping gadgets topped off in your bedroom or office. To get the discount, head on over to Amazon, add the power strip to your cart, and use the coupon code 3VKGEHIQ at checkout. That'll drop $4 off the price, taking it down to $16. The power strip comes with a 24 month warranty and is equipped with a five foot long cord.

It's not the first time it's been on sale, and it surely won't be the last, but the Moto 360 Sport is on sale at Amazon today for $99. The watch has its faults, but for just under a hundred bucks, it's one of the best values out there for someone looking for a new AW device. One important stipulation you need to be aware of is that only the white banded watch is currently on sale. The orange variety will run you $30 more and the black one is not even worth mentioning as it's almost twice as much.As I type this I'm wearing a beat up Sony SW3 with a torn band, which I have loved for its transflective display that has great outdoor visibility. This might be the best successor to that watch, and while white isn't my favorite color for a watch band, I might just pick one up anyways. I never would have paid $300 for it, but at $99 it's actually a pretty compelling offer.Want it? Follow the link below to pick one up for yourself. Hate it? Feel free to complain in the comments below.Source: Amazon

Attention movie lovers: You are eligible for a free $5 credit on VUDU. The offer is good for new, or existing subscribers and can be applied toward any movie rental or purchase in VUDU's substantial library, including UHD titles. Yes, it is free movie money, no strings attached.

Have you seen Star Wars: Rogue One? Did you like the character Chirrut Imwe, the blind, force-influenced character who beat the crap out of storm troopers with nothing more than a stick and snarky one-liners? You did, great! Then you might just like this deal. You see, the actor who plays the role of Chirrut is Donnie Yen, a martial arts master and the star of the much acclaimed Ip Man trilogy. Today you can buy that whole trilogy for just $3 at Google Play, a huge savings off the normal price of $27 that you'd pay if you bought each movie individually (ignore that $39.97 nonsense, they are priced at $7, $7, and $13 if you buy them separately).

There's been a lot of talk about the new NVIDIA SHIELD this morning, but no one has told you how to get a good deal on it yet. It's a good thing your buddy Jeff at AP cares about your wallet and wants to make sure you get the best price available. That best price is at Best Buy. The blue box retailer currently has a promotion running with Visa Checkout that will take $25 off any purchase of $100. Well, I say any purchase, but there are tons of excluded products and categories (including basically everything Amazon and Google makes). Fortunately, the SHIELD is not excluded, meaning you can pick one for just $175.

Amazon currently has a two pack of Anker USB Type-C to Micro-USB adapters on sale for just $5. That's a great price on some very handy charging accessories from one of the best names in the phone accessory business. With the adapters you can convert your existing MicroUSB cables into USB Type-C cables.I just bought some and plan on keeping one in my wallet for emergency use when I can't find a Type-C cable to charge my 6P. Just yesterday I realized I had left my spare phone charger at home and couldn't find anyone else in my entire department at work that had a Type-C cable. I had to severely limit my phone usage for the whole day to limp through to the end of my shift. #EarlyAdopterProblemsSince this is a lightning deal and inventory is literally disappearing as I type, I'm not going to wax poetic on this post. If you want a set, grab them now, they are going fast (from 12 percent sold to 22 percent in the 10 minutes it took to write this article). Head over to Amazon to place your order, they ship free to any Prime subscribers.Source: Amazon

Have you been anxiously awaiting the release of Bunyan & Babe? You know, the animated adventure featuring classic characters of American folk-lore thrust into the modern world to help save a town from greedy land developers. What, you haven't heard of this movie?! OK, neither had I thirty minutes ago. Why am I talking about it on Android Police? Because Google is giving it away for freeeeee!

Do you own a device that charges via USB Type-C? Do you often find yourself feeling anxiety over finding a USB Type-C cable to charge said device? Is this anxiety causing a lack of sleep, an eye twitch, decreased browsing, or an irritable bowel? If so, then you may be suffering from Type-C cable deficiency. The good news for you is that your favorite deal hunter Jeff has an easy and affordable solution for your ailment.Choetech has a six-pack of USB Type-C to Type-A cables on sale at its website right now for just $7.99 with no tax and free shipping. That's a $3 savings from what they are going for over at Amazon. The cables are tested and approved by Benson, and are at their lowest price ever. We were excited when they were $12.99 last summer, and this is almost half that price. The pack includes one 6.6 footer, four 3.3 footers, and an adorable lil' 1.6 footer. That's enough cables to have one for your home, your car, your office, your bathroom, and still have a couple left over to use as jump-ropes (for very short people). There are no coupon codes to worry about, just head over to Choetech's site, add the cables to your cart, and check out. Shipping is free, but it is slow (7-15 days) as the cables are coming directly from China. Worried about providing credit card info to a company you are not terribly familiar with? I understand, fortunately all payments at Choetech.com are handled through PayPal. Go ahead, place your order and let your Type-C cable deficiency be nothing more than a cold, dark memory.Source: CHOETECH
