Changing ecosystems is hard. You have to download your apps all over again and if you're going to a platform that's not made by Google or Apple, you have to wonder whether or not you'll even have your apps available to you. Well, thankfully, Microsoft has stepped in to provide a tool for users to find out whether or not you'll be covered if you switch. I tried it out and guess what it found?

Let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we? The year was 2012, the Galaxy S III and the HTC One X were still new, and some jerk on the internet suggested that maybe it's cool if people started appreciating their amazing phones instead of complaining about how their device wasn't revolutionary.

In the time since then, certain segments of the tech community have opted to go in the other direction.

I would like to personally thank the developers of Dickorate for making an app that is slightly less-obviously ripe for the banning on the Play Store. However, avoiding cartoon imagery of naughty bits still might not be enough to save this app from the banhammer. The Dickorate app allows  you to take pictures of any elongated cylindrical object you have handy and add mustaches, hats, sunglasses, and more. To save you the trouble, I have personally tested this app and included the image I took below.

We should've seen this coming. Really, Samsung, it's our fault. We should've stopped you when you put on that incredibly sexist Broadway show. We didn't. We argued that it was funny and then even enabled you by saying you have better marketing than HTC. We set you up for this. What could we have expected except a Gangnam Style parody that touts the virtues of the Galaxy S4?

The above video of the song...*sigh*...

If you like Tetris—wait, what the heck am I saying? Of course you like Tetris. Everyone likes Tetris. Disliking Tetris is like disliking ice cream, or baby animals. You like Tetris. And EA is about to make you a little bit happier with the release of Tetris Blitz on the Play Store. Though, this is just a soft launch so it may not be available in your area yet.

Since this is coming from EA, you can expect the requisite in-app purchases for various power-ups if you really want to spoil Tetris.

A few days ago, we saw an unlocked Galaxy S4 show up on the eBay Daily Deals site before promptly disappearing. Well, now it's back. The last time around, only about 200 of them were sold before they ran out, so if you really want to get in on this action, you'd better hurry.

Dearly beloved, we are gathered together in the sight of the FCC and these witnesses to join MetroPCS and T-Mobile in the bonds of holy mergrimony. If any shareholder can show just cause why they may not be joined together, let them speak now or forever shut the hell up.

Today, MetroPCS shareholders approved the merger between the company and T-Mobile USA. As a result of the deal, Deutsche Telekom will own a 74% stake in the new company, while the former MetroPCS shareholders will own 26%.

Samsung is facing some difficulties in getting its newest flagship phone into the hands of its U.S. customers. T-Mobile and Sprint have both reported that they will need to push back retail and online availability of the device. T-Mobile will now begin selling the phone on April 29th via its website, though the company has not confirmed when it will be available in stores. Here's the carrier's full statement:

We know customers are really looking forward to getting their new Samsung Galaxy S 4 soon.

You're a dick. I mean, in this game. Well, you could be a dick in real life, for all I know, but that's not what we're talking about. We're talking about phalluses. Why are we talking about phalluses? Because sometimes when we're trying to track down great games and apps for you guys to try, we accidentally stumble upon male genitalia. The Play Store is much like Chatroulette in that regard.
