Well, one, Farmville already is kind of a sim so that doesn't really count and two, yes! Now, what happens if you mix all of these together into one big, colorful Japanese game? You get Kairobotica.

Part of the game takes place in a sim space colony where you build shops, tech, and bolster your forces for missions. The rest of the game takes place in (surprise!) missions. Combat follows a turn-based RPG style and how well you do will determine how much you can invest in back at your base.

Agent Dash Is A Secret Agent Themed Running Game, Has No Idea Who This James Bond Character Is

Remember when Angry Birds came out, and suddenly a ton of games popped up based on flinging things at other things in a physics simulation? Well, now it's the running game's turn to get a million "variants". Agent Dash is just the latest in a series of games that have come out centered around dodging stuff while your character continuously runs forward, apparently unable to slow down. The Eames-era style, though, certainly makes this one a looker.

If there's anything that can improve on the experience of running towards things, it's gotta be spy gadgets and jet packs, right? Agent Dash doesn't pile on a lot of extra crap.

Manufacturers, you're awful at naming things. Sorry. It's true. In many cases, you've either muddied the brand of your flagship devices, or made it incredibly difficult for customers to know what they should be asking for when they walk into a store. This is probably not a good thing since you want customers to buy your stuff. More than that, though, you want them to love your stuff, so they'll buy more of it. Making it easier to say the name of the product will go a long way towards that goal.

Gears And Guts Goads You To Grind Zombies Into Goo With Your Gas Guzzling Death Wagon

When you're creating a game, there are a few key things you need to include: a good atmosphere (be it an intriguing story or just some wildly immersive effects), good gameplay mechanics, and a good hook. What's going to grab the users' attention? Well, for Gears and Guts, all three of those requirements can be summed up with "driving cars into zombies." Oh, and did I mention there's a sweet soundtrack to go along with it?

This game ditches any attempts at a story and simply plops you down in a nice little town that's being overrun by the undead, hands you the keys to a muscle car and says "Now have fun." Gears and Guts offers the user the choice of either touch or tilt controls, which is an absolutely lovely change of pace from games that either force you into one or another.

Sony Backpedals On Jelly Bean Plans For Its Xperia Devices, Still "Actively Investigating"

Recently, a Sony representative took to Facebook to announce the company's Jelly Bean plans for some of its Xperia devices. As it turns out, Sony wasn't too pleased with this move and has now backpedaled on everything the rep said, adding that it was still "actively investigating" Jelly Bean upgrade options. In the meantime, the rollout of Ice Cream Sandwich to Xperia S and 2011 Xperia smartphones will continue as planned.

Continuing the long string of updates being released today, the HTC EVO Design 4G, one of Sprint's mid-level EVO devices, is getting bumped up to Ice Cream Sandwich. The notes don't specify which version of Sense the device will be updated to. One might expect Sense 4.0, though we have seen some devices running Android 4.0, yet still carrying Sense 3.6. We had previously heard that both the EVO Design 4G and the EVO 3D would be on schedule to receive ICS by "early August," so it looks like Sprint is actually just a smidge ahead of schedule.

Ouya Partners With Square Enix, Final Fantasy III Will Be Among The Platform's Launch Titles

After recently announcing that the TV-centric Android gaming system would come with built-in OnLive support, the company is back to say that it's partnering with Square Enix to bring Final Fantasy III to your TV. If you live in Japan, this might be old news, but it marks the first time anywhere else that the game will be available via a television-based console.

Ouya says that not only will FFIII be on the platform at launch, but it will be updated for high-res gameplay and there will even be a free demo for users who aren't quite sold on the idea.

Using your own selections as a starting point, Spotify will put together automated playlists based on your taste. You know, like Pandora. As of today's update, the Radio functions are not only available on mobile but are even accessible even if you don't have Spotify Premium.

This marks an exciting new era for Spotify. Up until now, if you wanted to get access to tunes on the go from the Swedish-borne service, you had to pay $10 a month for the privilege.
