I may have just heard about focus- and relaxation-inducing music site Focus@Will, but that hasn't stopped me from already falling in love with it. For much of my stare-at-a-screen-all-day career, I've actually wanted a service like this, and even have a few stations on Pandora and Spotify that almost mimic the service. Now that I've found F@W, though, those stations are essentially defunct.

What is Focus@Will?

That's probably the biggest question on your mind right now.

When I reviewed the First, I realized it was much, much more than just a Facebook experience device. Sure, it's sporting Home out of the box, flashes a Facebook logo during the boot process, and is adorned with that same logo on the back, but it's not just about Facebook. This little diamond in the rough is running stock Android 4.1.2 beneath Facebook Home, so you're quite literally three (or so) taps away from a Nexus-like experience.

We've covered quite a few Bluetooth speakers here at AP over the last year or so – but we've never seen one quite like the BlackDiamond3 from Acase ($100, Amazon). Simply put, the BlackDiamond3 (known from here forward as the BD3) adds a pleasing visual element to your tunes by way of embedded LED lighting and multiple "diamond edges" that refract the over 16,000 colors to create a beautiful and ambient light show.

In the movie 3:10 to Yuma, Ben Wade (played by Russell Crowe) said "even bad men love their mamas" right after laying trash-talking Pinkerton Byron McElroy to rest (for saying bad things about Wade's mother, of course). I think this paints a pretty true picture: everyone loves their mother; rightfully so – none of us would even be here without our mamas, after all.

And if you want to show your mom how much she means to you this Mothers' Day, there's no better way to do it than with a massive and powerful smartphone.

It's a sad day for TweetDeck lovers, boys and gals. As of now, the Android, iOS, and Air versions of the app are no more.

Upsetting as it may be, this shouldn't come as much of a shock to anyone – Twitter announced it would be retiring these now-defunct options back at the beginning of March. Mobile users are, of course, encouraged to switch to the official Twitter app, while desktop users have the option of either TweetDeck's standalone application or its browser-based tool.

viber

It's a pretty big day for Viber, the popular VoIP application that brings "free messages and calls" to your mobile. Seems that the guys behind the app (appropriately named Viber Media) have been hard at work preparing not only major updates to the Android and iOS applications, but also on an all-new desktop client for Windows and Mac.

The update to the Android version of the app brings many new features, including a new Holo'd-out look.

Facebook phone. Those two words in that order have been repeated over and over again for the last couple of years, simply as rumors for the longest time. Then the HTC Status hit the scene with an integrated Facebook button – still, Zuckerberg himself claimed that it wasn't Facebook's phone.

Many months later, the rumor mill started whirring once again about an alleged phone designed just for Facebook. This time, for some reason, the rumors held more water.

About three weeks ago, Paradox Interactive released what could possibly be one of the best game trailers we've ever seen. It was for its then-upcoming game Leviathan Warships, and was chock-full of more ship puns than you can shake a stick at.

In fact, it was so good they decided to release a second trailer, with even more puns.

If you've had enough puns (I'm kidding – there's no such things as too many puns) and are ready to actually play the game, it's now available in the Play Store.

auralux

If you've longed for the abstract and ambient world of strategy game Auralux, but don't have a Tegra-powered device, good news is afoot: the most recent update adds support for non-Tegra devices. Exciting, no?

That's not all, either – it also brings a new level pack "where you invade enemy territory," one new free level, full gamepad and Shield support, and an "important stability [fix] on Nexus 7 devices."

All in all, this is a pretty good update, especially for those who haven't yet gotten the opportunity to play the game in the first place.

Two days ago, Barnes & Noble dropped a bomb by announcing full Google Play integration for its Nook HD and HD+ tablets. Now, it's looking to move even more units than before by offering a killer Mothers' Day deal for the next week: the Nook HD will be $150, and the HD+ $180 for the base storage options. That's a killer deal.
