google-nexus-7-2

So, you want a Nexus 7. And you want it to have 32GB of storage. And you don't want to pay full price for it. Done, done, and done. For today only, you can get a 32GB Nexus 7 from eBay Daily Deal for a smokin' $229. That's $20 cheaper than in the Play Store. Not to mention the free shipping and no tax (for residents not in New Jersey, that is). Ultimately saving you around $30 - possibly even a bit more.

That may not be a huge savings, but c'mon - this tablet is already priced at rock bottom as it is.

We've heard quite a bit about the upcoming ZTE Flash on Sprint over the last couple of weeks, but Best Buy just spilled all the details of the upcoming mid-ranger. According to previous leaks - which have now been confirmed by Best Buy - the Flash has a 4.5-inch 1280x720 display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, and Android 4.0. The handset's claim to fame, however, is its 12.6MP rear shooter - a first for a device in this class on Sprint.

This newcomer to Sprint's 4G LTE network was originally rumored to be available beginning today along with the Optimus G, Mach, and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 LTE, although BB has it listed as "out of stock" at the moment.

Sprint-Galaxy-S-III-Google-Wallet-Preloaded-2GB-RAM-Dual-Core-S4-Preorders-Up-June-5-Release-On-June-21-A

If you've been aching to buy a new device on Sprint, today may be a good day to stroll through the doors of one of the carrier's retail shops to check out the new arrivals: the LG Optimus G, LG Mach, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 LTE.

The Optimus G is, of course, the flagship of the bunch, sporting a 4.7" TrueHD IPS+ panel, 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro, 2GB RAM, and Android 4.0. This device is, for all intents and purposes, a non-Nexus version of the Nexus 4. Even though the OS is now dated, the hardware is still solid and performance should be among the best in its class.

Motorola promised that the Razr M would get its taste of Jelly Bean before year's end. Of course, when we hear "before year's end," it's just assumed that means December 29th or 30th. In this case, we have been pleasantly surprised, as the M's JB update is on its way out now.

Announced just moments ago by Verizon Wireless, the OTA brings all sorts of goodies to the smallest of the RAZR family, including Google Now, Project Butter (for smoothness), better voice recognition, enhanced notifications, a better keyboard, and more.

Wreck-It Ralph's a nice guy. But he's also a bad guy. So he's a bad nice guy. Or a nice bad guy. Either way, he's tired of being a bad guy, so he wants to be a nice good guy. But in the world of video games, every action title needs an antagonist. And that's Ralph's job - until he abandons his game to search for a new place where he doesn't have to be a bad guy.

That, of course, is the premise of Disney's new movie Wreck-it Ralph. And now, you can get in on the action with a new game of the same name that just hit the Play Store.

predators

When it comes to Alien vs. Predator, you'll find me in Predator's corner every time. He's part of an advanced species of ultra-tech savvy slaughter machines, and let's face it - it really doesn't get much cooler than that. I'd actually like to have one as a pet. But I can't, because he'd probably mutilate me on the first day. Scumbag Predator.

Since I can't have a Predator of my own, I'll have to settle for the next best thing: the new Predators game for Android. The game, which was just released by Fox Digital and created by Angry Mob Games (Muffin Knight, Guerilla Bob), lets you play the role of everyone's favorite technologically advanced assassin, and it's your job to slay some humans.

Over the past couple of years, Android tablets haven't really lived up to their full potential. We've seen multiple "game changers" or "iPad killers" come and go - yet the landscape has remained the same; that is, not very good. Further proving this, the best selling Android tablet of all time isn't an Android tablet at all - it's a Kindle. The Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD have been selling like hotcakes, but that really has nothing to do with Android - it's all about Amazon services. Until the Nexus 7, a "true" Android tablet had yet to really make a splash in the market.

GALAXY-Note-10.1
Last Updated: December 12th, 2012

If you bought a Galaxy Note 10.1 early-on, there's a good chance you've been patiently waiting for Jelly Bean to hit your device. If you happen to live in Germany (and have the German 3G version of the tablet, of course), then today's your lucky day.

Samsung started pushing the 300MB OTA last night, which brings Android 4.1.1, along with all the goodies and enhancements that come with it, to the GT-N8000 Note 10.1.

There's no word as to when users in other parts of the world could see the update, but it usually doesn't take long once one area starts getting an OTA.

The season for Nexus leaks is over. We already have all the glorious details about the next-gen Nexuses, so what are we doing to talk about now? How about some other stuff. New stuff. New leaked stuff.

In this case, it's a new Sony device codenamed Yuga. The device carries the model number C660X, and sports some rather impressive specs:

  • 5" 1080p display
  • 1.5GHz quad-core processor (likely S4 Pro)
  • 2GB RAM
  • 12MP rear shooter with dedicated camera button
  • Android 4.1.1 (for now)

So far as form factor is concerned, the handset is said to have a unibody design and glass back, much like the Nexus 4.

If you happen to be the type of person who buys things, then we have good news. In fact, you may even think it's great.

Google Shopper just got updated.

A little anticlimactic? Fine. It's still good news, though. Especially for those who like to spend money. Which is basically everyone.

So, what does this new update bring? All kinds of stuff. How do I know this, you ask? Because I looked at the changelog. And you can too!
