The Galaxy S4 is upon us. AT&T and US Cellular launched their respective pre-order pages just yesterday, and now Sprint and T-Mobile have announced official release date and pricing info.

The Now network will begin offering The Next Big Thing on April 27th for the expected price of $250 with a two-year agreement. However, if you're willing to ditch your current provider and port your number to Sprint, you'll get another hundred-spot off, bringing the price down to $150.

Facebook did a soft launch of its new Home launcher late last week, which left a lot of its international users out in the cold. Good news: if you've been dying to get your hands on Home, it's now available outside of the US. Of course, device restrictions still apply, as the app is only available on a handful of handsets right now:

  • HTC One X
  • HTC One X+
  • HTC One
  • Samsung Galaxy S III
  • Samsung Galaxy Note II
  • Samsung Galaxy S 4

And if you like what it has to offer but aren't necessarily sold on using it full time, there's an easy way to keep all of Home's functionality without sacrificing your existing launcher.

When I went hands-on with Facebook's new launcher a few days ago, I stepped away pleased with the overall experience, but felt that it lacked a lot of the features a power user (or even a regular user who does stuff) would like. Still, I found the "lock screen" functionality to be a very pleasant experience – turning my phone on to nothing more than a scrolling photo and the time is very minimal and relaxing.

As an Android site, we try to keep a close eye on newcomers to the Play Store. Sometimes that helps us find new, innovative, and highly useful apps. On the other side of that, it also help us find WTF apps for the roundups. But every once in a while an app shows up that simply baffles the mind, because its existence is so seemingly questionable it's hard to imagine why it's a thing in the first place.

If you're an avid Twitter user, then there's a good chance Falcon Pro is your go-to client on Android. For good reason, no doubt – it's fast, full-featured, and well supported. Today, the dev once again proves the latter, as the app is getting a nice little update to v1.8, which brings a handful of useful features to the app:

v1.8 - 16/04/2013
- New : *Starred Users* Inline Articles preview with offline access (enabled for all Starred Users that you follow)
- New : *Starred Users* Individual notifications (disabled by default)
- New : *Starred Users* Offline access
- New : translations (French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, Polish & Norwegian.

The day AT&T and US Cellular customers have been waiting on for some weeks is here: it's time to pre-order Samsung's Next Big Thing. For a shiny new two-hundred dollar bill, you can secure the 16GB Galaxy S4 in either white frost or black mist on either carrier. And if you're on US Cellular, you get an added bonus: the company is throwing in a free S View flip cover to seal the deal.

Let's get one thing out of the way first: if you've never heard of BLU Products, it's a company to keep an eye on moving forward. Why? Because we all love affordable unlocked devices, which happens to be what BLU specializes in. And today, the company announced the Jelly Bean (4.1.x) update for the Vivo 4.3. So, not only does it provide crazy-affordable devices (the Vivo is $199 off contract), but it also supports them.

Looks like every carrier in Canada (give or take a couple) decided to announce GS4 pre-orders at the same time. The good news, though, is that if you're on Telus, Bell, Virgin, or Videotron, you're one step closer to landing yourself a shiny new phone. The device is available for pre-order on all four of the aforementioned carriers, with a shipping date of April 27th for the former three.

Customers on Telus and Bell will be able to grab this handset for $200 with a three-year agreement (yikes!); Videotron customers will see the same price, though there's no word on agreement terms in the PR.

If you happened to be one of the less than 13 people who shelled out $550 to get Verizon's variant of the Galaxy Camera, then a nice update is heading your way. It appears to bring some pretty useful new features, like S Memo, a new Help App, four new Smart Modes, and a nifty remote view finder.

So far as the new Smart Modes are concerned, the update brings scenes for dawn, indoor parties, snow, and food to the device, for a total of 19.
