Update: It looks like Moto killed this deal. The coupon code no longer works, and the form has been removed.

If you bought a XOOM, the chances are that you need some accessories to go along with it. Motorola sees that need (and wants to make money), so until June 26, 2011, if you fill out this form, then you'll receive a coupon good for 50% off XOOM accessories at the Motorola store.

If you've been patiently waiting to start renting movies on your XOOM Wi-Fi, then your moment has arrived. According to this tweet from Motorola, you can now rent movies via the Android Market - granted you're not rooted, of course. It looks like the Movies tab still isn't appearing directly in the Android Market, but all you need to do is download and install the official Videos app from Google and you'll be ready to rent and watch all the movies you can handle.

We first told you back in March that Sony would be bringing Gingerbread to non-carrier-branded Xperia X10 units, with a late Q2/early Q3 arrival. With the end of Q2 quickly approaching, Sony posted a new entry on its Product Blog this morning stating that "the current plan is [to] start the roll-out [at] the beginning of August," which hits the early Q3 target date right on the head.

This update will include the same camera app that is found in the Éclair version (this has apparently been a pretty big issue amongst X10 owners), as well as a lot of features found on the newer Xperia phones - like Facebook inside Xperia, the updated UI with pinch-to-overview, and an integrated EQ in the music player.

It looks like Sammy has been working hard to bring Gingerbread to all of the Galaxy S devices, as an official build for the Epic 4G leaked over at SamFirmware this morning. Much like the recent Captivate Gingerbread leak, this is an early build, but judging by current reports, it seems to be pretty solid.

Just like this leak, you must flash this via Odin. Here's a quick example of the process:

If you're ready to give it a shot, head over to XDA for download.

You know that music thing people like to listen to? Well, Yahoo! seems to think that it may be the way back into users' hearts, as it just released a music-identifying, brain-crawling, news-delivering music player for Android powered by Instinctiv. It's called Yahoo! Play, and it has some basic, run-of-the-mill features, but it also has some... interesting features. Let's take a look.

First up, it has a feature called Identify, which is basically a Shazam or SoundHound clone: it listens to the track in question, then tells you what it is.

Ah, Angry Birds... it seems like it was only yesterday that the beta version of AB landed in the Android Market. Those crazy birds have come so far in such a short amount of time, and now they're back again with the newest update to the series entitled Mine and Dine. We already showed you the teaser trailer for this update a little over a week ago, but it never hurts to see it again, so here it is:

This update takes to the underground to bring 15 all-new levels of bird-slinging action to your device.

There's no denying that the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is one of the best Android tablets on the market. The keyboard dock makes it a one of a kind, and its unusually low price tag gives it more bang-for-your-buck than the bulk of the competition. Today's Daily Deal on eBay is the 32GB version of the Transformer (normally $500) with some pretty sweet accessories. While this bundle doesn't include the keyboard dock, it does bring a $90 Klipsch stereo headset and an 8GB microSD card to the table.

While the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a slew of positive features, that doesn't void it of its shortcomings. Among those downfalls is the lack of a dedicated USB port, which seems to be a big deal with a lot of people. Never fear, though - Samsung has come to the rescue with a USB adapter so you can take full advantage of the USB host support in Android 3.1. The USB adapter plugs into the Tab's proprietary 30-pin connecter, so it will add a bit of bulk to the supermodel-slim tablet.
