So, get ready Minecraft addicts outside of the Xperia Play world -- your time is almost here.

Yeah, we know -- it has only been three days since we leaked Gingerbread build 2.11.605.2 RUU for the TBolt, but how could we say no when our homie Justin Case from TeamAndIRC asked us if we want to drop a newer leak?

We couldn't. So here you go -- Gingerbread Build 2.11.605.3 for the HTC ThunderBolt. The installation process is basically identical to the previous leak, so if you've already flashed that, then this should be a breeze.

samsung infuse 4g mobile

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S 4G on T-Mobile or the Samsung Infuse 4G on AT&T have been waiting quite a while to leave Froyo behind and move into the world of Gingerbread. While Sammy and AT&T or T-Mobile have yet to drop the flag on an official OTA for either device, the good folks over at SamFirmware have released leaked versions of Android 2.3.5 for both devices.

Since these are leaked, there's not much of a changelog floating around, nor is there any indication of whether or not this is a final build.

The developer of popular apps like Tweetcaster and FriendCaster, OneLouder Apps, has released yet another app to its 'Caster' series: ChannelCaster.

ChannelCaster is a new aggregator that adds a social element to the way your news is delivered, much like News360. You can create your own channels, and share them publicly so others can see what your feed is pulling. Similarly, you can browse all other public channels to find interesting content feeds that other users have put together.

One of the biggest fears that many users have before rooting their device is something going wrong with no way to return to stock. Fortunately, we have a brilliant root community behind us, and thanks to Team ACS, we now have an unrooted, stock kernel available to flash via ODIN. This way, if you encounter any issue during or after rooting your device you have a way to restore the kernel back to its factory state.

There's no doubt that we're all waiting with anticipation for the HTC Vigor, which is rumored to be coming out as the Droid Incredible HD, to hit the market. It's reportedly going to be the first full HD phone, sporting a 720p display, 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, Sense 3.5, and Android 2.3.4 -- in other words, it's going to be a beast.

For those who want to get a little taste of what the Vigor has to offer before this upcoming HTC monster is officially released, we have gotten our hands on all of the multimedia goodies from the device.

google-calendar-final1

You could continue to add events to your Google Calendar the old fashioned way, or you could use this super cool (and fun!) method of SMSing things to your GCal.

wm_device-2011-09-22-115545

The process is so easy a caveman could do it, so follow along and you'll be one step closer to speaking (almost) directly to your calendar:

  • Add GEvent (48368) to your contacts, name it “Magic Calendar”
  • Click and hold the Search button to bring up Google Voice Search and say, “Text to Magic Calendar, Pick up kids 2pm at the Cliffs in Valhalla, New York” (or, you know, whatever event you want to schedule)
  • Wait a bit… you should receive a confirmation text and it should show up on your Google Calendar
  • Bring up event in your favorite calendar app or widget… click on the link for the location
  • Click on bubble to check out Places and to get turn-by-turn directions from your free Google Navigation
  • Extra credit – do the step #2 voice search hands-free using VLingo InCar

And that's it.

If you've never heard of Theft Aware, then you're missing out on one of the best anti-loss/theft solutions available for Android. It embeds itself deep into root, hides itself from the app tray, utilizes device administration privileges to the fullest, and basically makes itself undetectable, unremovable, indestructible, and unstoppable. Like I said, it's probably the most solid security app that we've ever seen.

In a blog post today, the makers of Theft Aware, ITAgents, announced that it has been been purchased by popular antivirus software company Avast.
