Have you ever been out somewhere when you were suddenly hit with a stroke of artistic genius? You haven't? Oh... well, have you ever been bored and just wanted to doodle on your phone a bit? If you fall into either of those categories, you need to check out a new app called Fresco.

This app is labeled as a "mobile art studio" per the developer, and it packs quite a few nice features: full layer support, configurable brush and eraser tools, smoothing, flood fill, zoom/pan, export to .PSD (with layers) and more.

When it comes to Android tablets, we've become accustomed to seeing near-identical specs for each one: 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16/32GB of storage. While those specs are still pretty awesome, Archos is looking to change the game completely with its newly announced 80 G9 and 101 G9 tablets. If you haven't already guessed, the biggest difference between the two tabs is the screen size, with the former offering 8 inches at 1024x768, and the latter with the more common 10.1-inch 1280x800 display.

That's about the only typical spec you'll find on this dynamic duo, though, as they're packing some real horsepower under the hood.

The Motorola Atrix has been making some serious waves as of late - first, we saw a Gingerbread test build that had an unlockable bootloader, and now the crew over at Android and Me have gotten a hold of some exclusive images showing the Atrix running Android 2.3.4 with the latest version of Gingerblur. If these images are to be believed, then the Motorola Atrix is back in the game in a big way. The tipster went on to say that the update drastically improved battery life and GPS functionality, fixed the random reboot issues, and substantially improved the overall experience.

Samsung Updates Kies For Mac Beta To Include Galaxy Tab 10.1 Support

If you're a Mac user who scooped up the recently released Galaxy Tab 10.1, then there's little doubt you've already had to deal with some frustrations - like the fact that you couldn't even access the device's internal storage from your computer. Fortunately, Samsung pushed an update to Kies for Mac Beta that adds Galaxy Tab 10.1 support, so you can finally start loading it up with all of your favorite on-the-go goodies.

While this update does bring some welcome features, you still won't be able to use it upgrade your devices firmware. Of course, this can still be done over Wi-Fi, so you're not left completely in the cold.

The arrival of summer brings several things: heat, sunshine, barbeques, vacations, and, of course, an update to Angry Birds Seasons! Cleverly titled "Summer Pignic," it'll be fun in the sun for the homicidal birds... or bird, rather. Judging by the video, it looks like you'll have to make it through this update with only one bird, which will make things quite interesting. Have a look:

Huawei Glory Coming To Cricket Wireless, Brings 1.4GHz And Gingerbread For Under $300

Normally, when we think about prepaid carriers, one thought comes to mind: low-end devices. Most manufacturers reserve their higher-end handsets for the Big Four, so those who don't want to empty their wallet each month on a wireless plan end up with very little to choose from when it comes to decent phones. However, that is all about to change with Huawei's upcoming Glory phone, which is set to land on Cricket Wireless this November.

The Glory packs a pretty hard punch, especially compared to its prepaid competitors: a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8655T processor, 4-inch 480x854 TFT display, 8MP camera, and Android 2.3 - all for under $300.

To welcome the arrival of T-Mobile's newest mid-range handsets, the Samsung Exhibit 4G and Gravity SMART, Wirefly is throwing a bone out there to all who are thinking of signing up with Team Magenta. If you walk into a T-Mo retail store looking to pick up either of these devices, then you'll be shelling out $80 for the Exhibit and $70 for the Gravity SMART (or $30 if you get the plain black one), but you can grab them from Wirefly for $50 and free, respectively.

This app is for rooted devices only.

What Dual Mount SD Widget does is quite simple, but extremely helpful: it allows you to mount your SD card to your phone and PC at the same time. This means that you'll be able to transfer files to and from your phone via USB without losing the ability to run apps that are stored on your SD card.

Move Over, SmartBench - There's A New Multi-Core Benchmark App In Town: Meet CF-Bench

It's no secret that benchmarks can easily be spoofed to show some pretty amazing results. Regardless of that, it has become an almost standard practice to demonstrate a device's power and prestige by using such tools. Over time, a few different apps have made a name for themselves and become clutch in the realm of benchmarking tools: Quandrant, Linpack, and SmartBench, just to name a few.

A new benchmarking tool has now been released by the same dev that brought us Chainfire3D called CF-Bench. Much like Smartbench, one of the key features of CF-Bench is its support for multiple cores, so right of the gate it delivers a more accurate performance reading.
