While some people prefer intense, console-like games on their mobile, almost everyone loves simple "time-killer" games. A perfect example of one such game is Super Rope, a new climbing game that recently landed in the Market.

First off, Super Rope is not only fun and easy to play, but it's absolutely stunning to look at. The environments are vibrant and full of life, which drastically adds to the appeal of the game.

If you want complete control of how your phone reacts to calls and text messages in nearly any situation, then a tool recently released to the Android Market called Call Master has your number. This is probably the most in-depth, advanced call and text firewall for Android, offering some insanely useful features. It's from the same developer as Root Call Blocker, and actually uses that as its base.

Amazon pushed an update to its Appstore today that brings a few new features, as well as a much sleeker interface. The theme is much easier on the eyes now, as the formerly-white app is now wearing a suit of gray with hints of orange, which matches the color scheme of the upcoming Kindle Fire perfectly.

Aside from the change in appearance, the Appstore also has support for in-app purchases and parental controls now, as well as a page where you can check permissions before you purchase an app.

PR ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime front Amethyst Gray

If there's one tablet that has been on the mind of Android fans all over, it's the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime (which, from this point forward, will be know as either the Transformer Prime or simply "Prime" because the full name is just too bloody long). ASUS just unveiled the world's first quad-core Tegra 3 device, and it is a beast. It was originally scheduled to be shown off on November 9th, but as you may have heard, has been delayed until early December.

Tegra3_Chip

There's no doubt that the Tegra 3 is going to be the reigning champ of mobile chips when it's released -- its quad-core setup and brilliant design offers the best of both worlds where performance and battery life are concerned.

For low power tasks, the fifth core, known as the companion core, runs the show; as more powerful processes come into play, the high performance cores activate and deactivate as needed.

How many times have you been sitting around watching the tube and reached down for the remote, grabbing your phone instead? Or grabbed the wrong remote? Or lost the remote? These scenarios could go on all day long, but what if you could put a stop to the remote madness altogether?

A new device from Griffin and Dijit Media called Beacon looks to do just that by turning your Android phone or tablet into a fully-functional remote control.
