You know what you need? Another office suite on your phone or tablet. Or maybe just an office suite. Of course, you probably know that office suites aren't the cheapest apps on the Market, either - most range from $10 to $30, and if you missed OfficeSuite Pro or QuickOffice when they were free in the Amazon Appstore, then you're either stuck waiting for another freebie to come along or forced to shell out the coin to get pick one up.
The team behind Firefox for Android teased the upcoming release with a tablet-friendly design back in late August, and the final version of FF9 just landed in the Android Market. The update not only features a specialized tablet interface, but also boosts performance and startup speed and brings some HTML5 tweaks to the scene, like camera input support and form validation.
The tablet interface offers some nice features over its phone-centric counterpart, like full-screen browsing in portrait, optimized tabs for easy thumb-switching between open pages, and a quick access buttons on the Action Bar.

Amazon started pushing an update to the Kindle Fire yesterday, and two words that no Android geek wants to hear were muttered shortly after: breaks root. Unlike the previous update to the Fire, this update can't be re-rooted using SuperOneClick.
