Bookmark sync is one of the best features of the Android stock browser (and Chrome for ICS devices), but there's one major flaw with it: what if you don't use the stock browser (or you don't have ICW)? Well, if Dolphin's your default browser, we have good news - there's now an extension in the Chrome Web Store that allows Dolphin to sync all of your desktop bookmarks to your mobile, and vice-versa.

The Google Voice app received an update today that is sure to make frequent GV users quite happy: voicemail integration in the dialer for Android 4.0 devices. Gone are the days of hopping on the computer or launching the GVoice app to listen to your voicemail, as it's now integrated directly into the ICS dialer, much like we saw at the Android 4.0 announcement back in October.

The update also brings quick access to all folders directly from the inbox.

Last week, Amazon started a promotion to celebrate the Appstore's first birthday. One week and 28 apps later, that sale is coming to a close - but you still have a chance to grab some decent apps at a discounted price.

So, there's this phone on AT&T called the LG Thrill 4G.  While it's virtually identical to the Optimus 3D in nearly every way, it has been running Android 2.2 since release, whereas its twin brother has been on Android 2.3 for four months now. Finally, though, Thrill 4G owners are getting treated to a taste of Gingerbread, albeit with one last hurdle to jump through.

Instead of rolling the update OTA (over-the-air), this one requires the LG Mobile Support tool.

Good news for anyone who bought one of the recent Sony Android tablets - namely the Tablet P and Tablet S - the update to Android 4.0 should be coming your way next month. The update will not only bring all of the benefits that ICS has to offer, but also a feature that will allow Tablet users to access and watch programs they've recorded on their compatible Sony Blu-Ray recorder.

Just as quickly as Acer entered into the dual-core tablet market with the most affordable fully-featured tablet at the time, it now enters the quad-core market in the same fashion. The Tegra 3-sporting Iconia Tab A510 will be the first real competition to the beastly Transformer Prime in the Android tablet realm, and rightfully so -- it's packing comparable specs while still managing to hit a lower price-point.

  • 10.1-inch 1,280x800 display
  • Quad-Core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 32GB built-in storage with microSD Card slot
  • 5MP Rear shooter, 1MP front-facing camera
  • 9,800mAh battery for 12 hours of continuous video playback
  • Android 4.0 with Acer Ring

The A510 not only packs some of the latest hardware to hit the scene, along with the newest version of Android, but it also offers up Acer's Ring interface - a customizable launcher that allows for quick access to user-defined shortcuts and bookmarks, as well as a handy screenshot tool.

Are you sick of all the measly little 10.1-inch Android tablets floating around the retail scene? Is portability the last thing on your mind when purchasing a new "mobile" device? Would you rather use up your screen real estate for watching TV than doing something productive (or even playing a game)? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then Toshiba's monstrous new AT330 may be the tablet for you.

After tons of leaks (mostly ridiculous), we're finally starting to hear some concrete information about the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S III, this time directly from the source: Samsung China CEO Kim Young-ha.

In a recent interview, Young-ha stated that Samsung is aiming to boost sales by 40% in China by launching an aggressive marking campaign for products such as TVs, laptops, home appliances, and, our favorite, smartphones. Since the Galaxy Note is already wildly popular in the Chinese market, Young-ha said Samsung is "considering rescheduling the rollout of the Galaxy S III from May to April," which makes this the first confirmation that we've heard from Samsung regarding any sort of potential GSIII launch timeframe.

So you want a decent Android tablet (not one of those cheap knock-offs), but you don't want to break the bank, and an affordable seven-incher isn't quite what you had in mind. How about a 10.1-inch Toshiba Thrive for $250? Sure, it's not a Tegra 3-packing Transformer Prime, but at less than half the price of the TFP, it's still hard to beat. In fact, this is one of the best prices that we've ever seen on a premium Tegra 2 tablet.
