Owners of the unlocked GSM Galaxy Nexus (yakju) are waking up to an OTA update notification this morning that is said to fix the signal loss issues which came along with build IMM76D. Since this new build (IMM76I) doesn't bump the Android version, kernel, or radios at all, however, we're not sure if the update makes any other changes (though it's unlikely).
Here's a bit of good news for all of you who have an unlocked (global) Samsung Galaxy S II here in the U.S.: Ice Cream Sandwich is being pushed to your device right now. This makes the global GSII the first of the GSII family to officially get Ice Cream Sandwich in the U.S., as none of the three American carriers that offer the phone have begun sending the update yet.
Looks like Big Red is on a roll with the OTA updates this week. First the RAZR/MAXX and Droid 4, then the LG Spectrum, and now the Casio G'zOne Commando. If you don't remember, the all but forgotten G'zOne is Casio's rugged offering to the Android world, packing lightweight specs in a heavyweight shell.

Anyone who reads Android Police knows that we generally spend a lot more time debunking rumors and leaks than we do actually reporting them as valid news. With that said, this could be the best look we've seen at the upcoming Galaxy S III yet (if Samsung chooses to stick with that name, of course). Big Red isn't skimping on the updates over the past couple of days (though none of them are ICS) - yesterday we saw changelogs for upcoming Droid RAZR/MAXX and Droid 4 OTAs, and today, details for an upcoming OTA to the LG Spectrum hit Verizon's site.

Take the OG Galaxy Tab for example - this little guy was the first Android tablet to hit the scene (running a phone-specific version of the OS, no less). If you're one of the many who jumped on the Spotify bandwagon when it finally showed up in the U.S., then you'll be happy to know that the Spotify folks have been working on a new build that will bring a whole new interface and full support for ICS devices.
Looks like Samsung and Motorola have been hanging out at the local trademark office again, as both companies have registered names of some upcoming devices.
Looks like the RAZR Twins aren't the only ones set to get an OTA from Big Red - a changelog just hit the support docs page for the Droid 4 that outlines a small bug fix/enhancement update for the fourth-generation slider:
All manufacturers want to make sure that apps work properly on their devices. Of course, the best way to make sure an app works on any given phone is to actually test the app on the device in question. For developers, though, that could cost a substantial amount of money - just think about how many Android devices are out there at the moment.

I'm convinced that April 22, 2012 will forever be recognized as one of the most Android-packed day of all time. Why, you ask? Because that's the day that the day that Sprint's Galaxy Nexus, LG Viper, and LG Optimus Elite will be available, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 and ASUS Transformer Pad 300. Looks like AT&T didn't want to be left out, so it announced this morning that its version of the HTC One X would be available for pre-order on that very day for $199, with a release date set for May 6th (which lines up with previous rumors - good job, Best Buy!).
So, here's a bit of good news for Time Warner customers: the company just updated its Android app with support for streaming TV on Android 4.0 devices. Fantastic right? Yeah... no. There's a catch: it won't work for rooted users. Boo, Time Warner!
