Bertel King, Jr.
Born and raised in the rural South, Bertel knows what it's like to live without 4G LTE - or 3G, for that matter. The only things he likes sweeter than his tea are his gadgets, and while few objects burn more than a metal phone on a summer day, he prefers them that way anyway.

Honda and NVIDIA have partnered up to supply future 2015 Civic, Civic Tourer and CR-V owners with a Tegra-powered infotainment system for them to totally not interact with while driving. The interface will be based on Android, but it's utilizing the aging (or at this point, we can just say old) build of 4.0.4. We may be excited to see Android work its way into more cars, but Auto, this is not.

The TripIt travel itinerary app has received an update that makes it significantly more useful during bouts of intermittent Internet connectivity. Version 3.6 brings in the ability to make edits while offline. The app will then sync changes automatically once you reconnect.

This feature tops the change log, but it's not what TripIt highlighted when I fired up the app. No, that was the new Enhanced Point Tracker feature that will notify you whenever your rewards points are about to expire.

Version 3.3 of LastPass has hit Android devices, and it's delivering a couple of nice things to users. Shared folder management snags the top spot on the ol' change log. Now I hear you, "LastPass isn't a cloud storage provider, so why do I need to share folders?" These aren't for storing files in the traditional sense. Instead, they provide a place for people to securely exchange sites and notes with others.

HumbleBundle

We've hit that point in the life of every Humble Bundle where a new set of games jump in to flesh out the original selection. This time around, we're seeing the likes of Epoch, Mikey Hooks, and Zombie Gunship join the seven games that made up the initial batch. People who paid over the average at the time of purchase will get these new titles automatically, and those who do so going forward will get them just as well.

If something goes up on the Internet, eventually someone is going to find it. But that doesn't mean you have to make it easy for them. There are certain things a Google+ page may want to say or share that isn't intended for all audiences. So Google has rolled out a few features that let people restrict who can see content based on age and country.

For clarification, these limitations apply to Google+ pages, such as the Android Police page, instead of individual profiles.

Wunderlist

Wunderlist now has another nice feature under its belt. The company behind the popular to-do list manager has announced the addition of Dropbox integration. Users can utilize this to attach files of any size or type to their Wunderlists.

To access the feature, click on the Dropbox icon under the detail view and select the file you wish you want to add. The file will then sync across your devices with Wunderlist installed and those running Dropbox, just as you would expect.

Monument Valley is another reminder that a game doesn't have to be long to be worth the ride. At this moment, it's discounted to just 99 cents on the Amazon Appstore, a discount of 75%. I've expressed my fondness for this game before, so I don't need to ramble on too much here when I tell you that, assuming you can put up with having Amazon as the distributor, this is a deal that you're going to want to jump on if you have yet to put the immersive puzzler through its paces.

Drive-Thumb

Google Drive already supplies more storage space than the average student needs, but that hasn't stopped the company from raising the bar further. Today it announced Drive for Education, which it will provide to all Google Apps for Education customers at no extra charge. The primary perk of this new offering is unlimited storage space. Users will be able to upload individual files up to 5TB in size. Yes, you read that right--that's a single file that takes up more space than a regular Google Drive paid account can handle.

Speaker

Today's Amazon Gold Box deal of the day can help anyone in need of a portable Bluetooth speaker save quite a bit of money. Creative Labs' Airwave speakers are currently reduced down to just $29.99. This is a savings of $70 off the MSRP. That's right, 70%. You don't see discounts like that often (or at least not as often as we'd like).

The Airwave is available in five colors, but only three are going for $29.99: a grey that looks pretty black, a blue that looks kinda purple, and black & white.

SenseTV

HTC has updated its Sense TV app more than a few times since dropping the app into the Play Store, really highlighting the benefits of separating app updates from new firmware releases. On the other side of the coin, the changes in each of these updates aren't particularly drastic. They're not going to win you over if you're not a regular Sense TV user, but they're nice to see if you are.
