We've long suspected that the Spring Galaxy Nexus will be finally crawling out of the labs and into our hands on April 22nd, with today's Sprint planogram note BGR got ahold of confirming it. To make the case even stronger, we'll throw in a tip from one of our sources at Best Buy who sent us these internal images.

While neither picture explicitly names the devices, they should indeed be the Galaxy Nexus and the LG Viper 4G, the latter of which is officially coming out on the same date as well.

Everyone screws up at some point in life, but when a company as big as Sprint puts up a front-page banner showing a completely different, highly anticipated phone in place of one that's over a year old, we're going to have no choice but bring it up. And maybe even point the finger. Like so:

I'm sure we all wish the Nexus S 4G looked like that, but that is most definitely not it.

A new update with version 2.20.605.3 is coming to Verizon's girly HTC Rhyme. Before you get too excited, no, it's not Ice Cream Sandwich, and it doesn't even contain anything particularly exciting. Here, take a look:

Verizon Wireless is pleased to announce a new software update, 2.20.605.3 710RD, for your HTC Rhyme. Verizon Wireless and HTC encourage you to download this update.

Device Features

  • “ Ringtones” has been replaced with “Edit Home” when the Menu key is pressed on the home screen.

Five days ago, Sprint announced that the Ice Cream Sandwich OTA was finally ready for the Nexus S 4G, but many of you still haven't received the update prompt. Yesterday, Google released the full OS image for the NS4G, but installing it does a full wipe, which may not be ideal for those just itching to upgrade.

Fortunately, the OTA link on Google's servers was finally found today by a number of AC forum members, which means you no longer have to wait for Sprint/Google and instead update your Nexus on your own.

I know, I know, who wants to hear about yet another tower defense game? Actually, I do - I still find this genre to be one of the most enjoyable on a mobile device and pretty much the only one that can keep me interested for longer than a day (I've been playing Com2uS' Tower Defens: Lost Earth nonstop for the last few days). And you might too, when you see the video of Hexage's upcoming title, Radiant Defense.

Getting CyanogenMod builds onto an Android device has always been easy as pie, but who is going to say no to yet another, even simpler method? While redesigning the CyanogenMod Downloads page, the CM team recently added a really subtle ability to send downloads straight from the web right into ROM Manager - all with just one click, a-la Chrome to phone or Amazon's 1-click purchasing.

In fact, the change to the site was so subtle that it went unnoticed by us for a week until Koush posted this video to his YouTube account:

Brilliantly simple, isn't it?

Team iLuminate, one of the most visually impressive and creative dance troupes who just happened to win be one of the finalists in America's Got Talent last year, recently joined Labrinth in this stunning performance at the Sony Xperia S party. There really isn't much to say here - just watch:

I've been a huge fan of iLuminate, and while this isn't by far their most original performance, it was still quite a treat.

A new Google Play Store v3.5.16 started rolling out to some Android users in the last 24 hours. This version replaces 3.5.15, which brought a whole host of new features last time around, and reportedly brings fixes to those having trouble seeing purchased apps or experiencing force closes.

Additionally, improvements in snappiness were reported, but it could just end up being the placebo effect. I haven't found any other obvious changes thus far.
