Today's roundup is presented by DigiCal Calendar & Widgets from Digibites. DigiCal is a complete calendar solution that integrates with Google Calendar, matching it feature-for-feature and then some.
Google Glass is an extraordinary device. Like the Apple II, the Palm Pilot, and the first iPhone, Glass is a category-defining product that will quickly become the template for all other devices of its type going forward. It's the kind of device that will have a place in a computer history museum.
As a technology journalist, I often cover innovative devices, or exciting devices, or devices destined to sell millions, but how often, going in, can you say "This is a device of historical significance?" Wearable computing has arrived. While Glass might not be the very first of its kind, it's the first good one of its kind.
PushBullet is a super-useful app for getting text and files from one place to another. The app just got its first update in about two months, and it adds some very useful features.
The newest update includes support for the Android sharing intent system. This enables device-to-device sharing of content using the standard Android sharing menu. This could be very useful if you have more than one device, like a phone and tablet. I'm not seeing PushBullet pop up in all the sharing menus on my device yet, but it is working fine from the browser and Evernote.

As I was digging through the latest build of Google Play Music, I noticed something strange: lots and lots of YouTube stuff. "That's odd," I thought, "What does YouTube have to do with Play Music?"
Oh, right, music videos!
Sure enough, there's some fairly revealing text included, too:

While listening to music, you'll be able to tell Play Music to hunt down the YouTube video for that song. It looks like the video will play in the music app, since there's lots of "video" views and styles in the xml.
If style and power meets rugged and durable is what you're looking for in a smartphone, then you'd be hard pressed to find something that fits the bill better than Samsung's just-announced Galaxy S 4 Active. It takes almost everything that makes the GS4 great and wraps it in a water- and dust-resistant shell, bringing high-end specs to those who need a ruggedized device that can handle nearly anything that comes its way.
This morning, AT&T made itself the first US carrier that will be offering the device, which will be available on June 21st for $200 with a two-year agreement.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has won some ardent fans since its release, but AT&T just announced a new variant for those who want a little LTE with their S Pen. AT&T even put together a handy video showing off some of the Note 8.0's features.
This is the same Note 8.0 we've seen before, but with the LTE radio and (presumably) some AT&T apps built-in. The Note 8.0 runs Android 4.1, has a 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos chip, 4,600mAh battery, 16GB of storage (with microSD card slot), and a 1280x800 LCD screen.
AT&T is being coy about the price and release date, saying only that it will be available in the coming weeks.
Just in case you needed another dedicated Android gaming device to choose from, Mad Catz has made the M.O.J.O. console official. You may know Mad Catz as the maker of the cheap third-party game controllers you were always forced to use at friends' houses. Well, now it's making a game console. What could go wrong?
There aren't a lot of details on the M.O.J.O., but we do know it will have 16GB of internal storage, two USB ports, HDMI, and WiFi. Internals were not detailed, but earlier reports indicate a Tegra 4 chip could be used. The press release didn't clarify that point, but Nvidia's latest and greatest would at least make for an interesting angle when the OUYA runs on Tegra 3.

Today's roundup is presented by Tiny Token Empires from HeroCraft. This game has an interesting mix of genres: the city and empire building is reminiscent of a Civilization-style game set in 2000 B.C.
Google Music has probably lured a few Spotify users away with its tight Android integration and low introductory price. But what about all those meticulously constructed Spotify playlists? There is no official way to bring them along for the ride, but a developer has worked out a quick and dirty way to make it happen.
Portify is a neat little tool that logs into both Spotify and Google Music, and manages to move your playlists over. The program asks for your Google and Spotify passwords, which will probably make some people a bit nervous. However, the dev has made the source code available for examination to alleviate those fears.
