Last Updated: November 22nd, 2014

Of our many jobs here at Android Police, one is to make our readers' lives easier when we can. With that in mind, here's a roundup of every known Nexus Lollipop OTA. As new ones become available, this post will be updated accordingly.

Lollipop will be released to Nexus 4, 5, 7 (2012 and 2013), and 10, plus bugfix OTAs to Nexus 6 and 9. As I'm sure you've guessed, there will be plenty of files to be had.

Duolingothumb

Duolingo treats learning a new language like a game, and it has attracted users thanks to its simple way of breaking courses into something you actually want to dive into during your free time. The latest version sprinkles in elements of Material Design, making the already visually pleasing app feel even more at home on devices running Android 5.0.

This release won't have you mistaking it for a Google app, as the shrunken menu button is slightly off, and the side panel slides in awkwardly under tabs that look stuck in transition between Holo and Material.

We take a lot of jabs at Verizon here at Android Police, and not without good cause. But we can't deny that the company's current Connection Day promotion, in conjunction with an Amazon partnership, is offering some sweet free stuff. Right now Amazon is giving away a bunch of paid apps and music via its Appstore and Amazon Music portals, compliments of Big Red. You can add them to your Amazon library whether or not you use Verizon for home or wireless services.

The Galaxy S II Skyrocket, AT&T's first LTE phone, was released a little over three years ago. During its lifetime, it had pretty good support from Samsung regarding Android version updates. It launched with Gingerbread, and got subsequent bumps to Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean 4.1. That OTA to Jelly Bean was the last time the phone saw any kind of software update, and that was 19 months ago. With that in mind, AT&T apparently can't let its first LTE love go because, out of nowhere, Samsung has announced a new software update for the aging device.

If you're willing to throw caution to the wind and void your warranty, you can have Android 5.0 on your Sprint Galaxy S5 right now. An early build of Lollipop for this device has leaked on XDA, and it's flashable with Odin. Expect bugs, but hey, it's Lollipop.

PlayStore-Thumb

We're generally happy to report when Google expands Play Store availability to a new region, whether it's access to books, movies, or apps. In this particular case, the news tastes a little bitter. Google has opened up the Play Store to Cuba, offering residents a chance to download free apps. It's just too bad most won't be able to step inside and shop.

The thing is, the Internet is heavily censored through the island.

If you want a high-end phone for a GSM network, this deal will probably beat anything you're likely to find on Black Friday. Right now one eBay seller is unloading a refurbished AT&T version of the HTC One M8 for just $379.99, almost $300 off of the retail off-contract price and a solid eighty bucks cheaper than our previous best One M8 deal. You can pick it up with free shipping in grey, silver, or gold colors.

Republic Wireless made news last year when it started selling the Moto X for what was, at the time, a very compelling price. Now the Sprint MVNO has gotten the 2014 Moto X ready for its special hybrid calling service. It's coming December 10th for $399. That's $100 less than the regular off-contract price.

In the last month Google has offered up the Guardians of the Galaxy mixtape, Lorde's Pure Heroine, and Night Visions by Imagine Dragons entirely for free. Now you can grab deadmau5's electronic album titled > album title goes here < (no, that's not a note for me to come back and wiki the name later). Like previous deals, there's a good chance this one is only available in the US thanks to labels, licensing, and other shenanigans.

Got some shopping plans this holiday weekend? That might be the time to pull the trigger on a Nexus 6 if you're on Sprint. Some information we've been passed indicates Google is partnering with Sprint to throw in $50 of Play Store credit when you buy a Nexus 6 between Black Friday (11/28) and Cyber Monday (12/1).

Chrome users love to try out new features in the beta version of the Android browser, and fans of Opera's long-running software have been able to do the same since March. Now you can try out the new goodies in the pipeline early for the Opera Mini browser as well: the company just published a beta app on the Play Store. And what's more, the very first release of the beta version is making it count with a fresh new user interface.
