Fancy Pants Adventures

Five years since the iOS port, Fancy Pants Adventures finally sees its release on Android. Originally this was a web-based game with three episodic like releases. This Android version, of course, contains all three episodes, wherein you play through the third world first. The gameplay consists of your standard side scrolling platformer fair, but it is enjoyable and does control well with a touch screen. What is a pleasant surprise, is that HID controller support is also included. You can grab Fancy Pants Adventures for free, but there are advertisements and in-app purchases present with this release.

--

Fancy Pants Adventures is now available, free on your favorite android device. Race through dense forests, underwater caverns, and pirate ships in search of your kidnapped sister in this epic adventure. Stomp, kick, and slash your enemies with 40 melee weapons and an arsenal of moves. Battle Pirates, Ninjas, a Giant Penguin and more.

Karma. Incarnation 1.

Point and click adventure games often work great on a touch screen device. This is most likely why they are some of the best premium games found in the Android ecosystem. Today I am taking a look at Karma. Incarnation 1. This is a port of the well-received PC version. It contains all of the original hand-drawn artwork as well as the magical soundtrack. The controls, of course, have been altered to work with a touch screen. Luckily they work just as well if not better than the original's controls. Karma. Incarnation 1. is available as a free download, but it does contain in-app purchases that range up to $2.49 per item.

--

This original adventure game explores a love story between two beautiful souls through ingenious humour and a bizarre, hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animation style. Our hero’s beloved has been abducted by evil spirits, and the only way to reunite them is to reincarnate himself as a dragon to defeat Evil. But something has gone wrong, and his soul is reborn as a worm named Pip. Now Pip must overcome the challenges of a surreal world, solve mind bending puzzles, and save his love. Choosing between good and evil, Pip learns the laws of Karma, and his choices define the outcome of the game.

Karl!

Karl! is a simple game, but extremely difficult too. The premise is that you are a samurai who needs to remove all enemies on screen. These enemies are represented by throwing stars and other samurai weapons. The gameplay works by you pulling your ninja, much like the controls in Angry Birds, to then release him towards the stages enemies in a slingshot-like fashion. While this sounds simple enough, in practice it is quite difficult. You can pick up Karl! as a free download, though it does contain advertisements and in-app purchases that range up to $2.99 per item.

Iron Blade - Medieval Legends

One thing is for sure, you can't fault Gameloft for their graphics. They consistently pump out the best looking games on the platform. Today we have Blade: RPG Legends, a new RPG that plays quite a lot like a simplified form of the Batman Arkham series. The funny thing is, the Batman series in and of itself uses a simplified form of combat. Yo dog, I heard you enjoy simplified combat mechanics. Sadly, as is expected of a Gameloft release, Blade: RPG Legends is a free-to-play title that is filled to the brim with in-app purchases that range up to $99.99 per item.

Fastlane: Road to Revenge

Fastlane: Road to Revenge is a car combat runner game that sees you mainly competing for high scores. It is very similar to the Spy Hunter series in design, as you pick up powerups while driving in order to slay your opponents. Something new with this release is the inclusion of many Youtube personalities in the game itself. While this may not add much value to the gameplay, it is an interesting way to advertise your game. You can grab Fastlane: Road to Revenge for free, but there are advertisements and in-app purchases to contend with that range up to $99.99 per item.

Fatal Raid

Fatal Raid is your bog-standard zombie filled first-person shooter. You can play through a campaign in the single player mode as well as against other live players in the multiplayer mode. Like most FPS games on Android, this is a free-to-play title. What that means is you can expect the title to be littered with in-app purchases. How much they cost, on the other hand, I do not know. The Play Store does not list their pricing, and in order to open the IAP menu in the game, you have to complete four levels of play. And that is after you finish the ridiculous tutorial where the game keeps interrupting you to explain yet again what the left digital analog stick does.

--

The zombie apocalypse has arrived. Carnage ravages the streets of Nova City. All that stands between its salvation and ultimate destruction is a squad of elite super soldiers. Do you have what it takes to fight back the undead horde and reclaim the city? Fatal Raid is an action packed first-person shooter like you've never seen. No mere mobile game, Fatal Raid gives you the full FPS experience right at your fingertips. From the complex, story-driven single player mode to the realtime PvP battles, Fatal Raid has unparalleled depth and replayability.
