- 1 Know A Worthy New App? Let Us Know!
Digit drop is a free-to-play minimal math game where you compete for high scores by solving addition problems as quickly as possible. There are three modes of play, timed, a daily challenge, and an endless mode. The endless mode is locked behind an in-app purchase of $2.99, so keep that in mind if you want to play without a time limit. There are also IAPs that range up to $9.99 for the purchase of in-game currency. This currency can be used for power-ups that come in handy during the gameplay, especially in the time limit mode. Something nice is that you also earn this currency while playing, so there isn't quite as much of a need to purchase it. Overall this is an enjoyable math puzzle title that is not at all too greedy with its pricing scheme.
Digit drop is a game about adding. Simply add up digits to the given number above the board, and then BAM...Digit Drop. The more digits you use in a Digit Drop the higher you score. All digits get saved to your Digit Vault to be used in buying Power Ups. This puzzle game is unlike any number game you played before. The faster you add the higher your overall score will be. Think it's too hard to beat the clock? Try out Endless mode.
- Timed: 45 Seconds.+5 second per Digit Drop. Will you beat the clock or will you hear the countdown to 0 and lose?
- Daily Challenge: New Day, New Board. 2 plays. Everyone playing has the same exact board. Challenge your friends and see who will get the highest score in the Daily Challenge.
- Endless: Get rid of the stress of Timed. Sit Back and play at your own pace. Infinite Time, Infinite Digits and Infinite Power Ups.
- +10 Seconds: Adds 10 seconds to your time.
- Shuffle: Board too hard? Shuffle It. And as a bonus have 40 points.
- Double Digits: For the rest of the game earn digits for your digit vault twice as fast.
Castaway Home Designer
For those familiar with Nintendo's Animal Crossing franchise, you may have heard of Stolen Couch Games Castaway Paradise before. It is a game obviously inspired by Animal Crossing. This time around, Stolen Couch has modeled their newest game after Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, titled Castaway Home Designer. The gist of the gameplay is that you will help villagers in an island town decorate their abodes. The more you decorate, the more items you unlock in order to further your decoration career. A casual game in the truest sense, which means it includes advertisements and in-app purchases. The IAPs range up to $10.99, which are all used for purchasing in-game currency. Luckily you can also earn this singular currency through playing the game, so it is not as detrimental as other free-to-play games with multiple currencies.

Deep Town: Mining Factory
Deep Town is an interesting title that mixes a few different genres together into one. There are elements of idle tapping games as well as a good bit of strategy factory building. What is unique is how these genres are mixed together. Your goal is to dig as deep as you can, mining minerals that can then be used to upgrade your mining equipment. This needs to be carried out with careful planning, as some equipment is more helpful than others. The game does contain advertisements as well as in-app purchases that range up to $99.99. So this is more something that you would play passively but works well as a time waster that requires a bit of thinking and strategy.
Deep Town is science fiction strategy game where you play as an AI, with a sole purpose to gather, construct, and replicate. Crust of a planet is very deep, filled with different metals, gems and rare findings. A high tech digging system as yours, is capable of drilling through any rock, using tons of different techs like driller robots, cryogenic freezing techs, fire blasts and others, you name it. Deep town is a free indie game, and one of the best strategy games in your pocket with idle elements, and factory clicker one tap mechanics it could be the best miner or digger out there. We love to describe it as an Underground city builder of sorts. If you ever played digging games, this town clicker is for you.
Sword of Shadows
There are now quite a few MMOs on Android, giving people a lot of choices when it comes to their online gaming needs. Sword of Shadows is looking to squeeze into this popular genre with a Chinese martial art themed RPG. Akin to the Wire Fu style found in many Chinese martial arts films, Sword of Shadows utilizes over the top martial arts attacks in the game's numerous battles. Now being that this is an MMO, there are definitely in-app purchases to be found within. These IAPs range up to $99.99 as you would expect.
The ancient realm of Jianghu is once again under siege by dark and powerful forces. Each martial arts school is fierce and fearsome in its own right, but is any one faction strong enough to take control of the kingdom? In Sword of Shadows, players will embark on a journey to become a martial arts legend in a dazzling world powered by the second generation Flexi Engine. Sword of Shadows is the latest epic martial arts MMO title from Snail Games. It is full of exciting gameplay features and dynamic battlefields, including the Team Arena, Sky Arena and Conquest, and more The game also includes flying skills, expanded quests, expanded guild functions, and more in a breathtakingly detailed environment.
Stunt Wheels Party!
First things first, Stunt Wheels Party is only for the NVidia Shield TV currently. While that may change in the future, the release is pretty limited for now. Those of you that do own a Shield, well you are in luck. This is actually a pretty solid top-down racer reminiscent of titles such as Micro Machines, where you race your car through obstacle-laden tracks. There is also a weapon component to the game, where you pick up different weapons on the track in order to shoot your fellow racers. The game itself only costs $3.99 and there are no in-app purchases or advertisements to be found. To me this all adds up to a great pickup for those that own a Shield TV device.
Yes. The Magnificent Stunts are back and this time they're racing around the backlots and studios of Stuntwood. Battle to destroy your dastardly stunt rivals; Stunt Guy, Stunt Gail, Mucus, Danger-Susan and Nurse Long... and watch out for oil slicks, TNT and squirrels as you race masses of different cars through beached pirate ships, backflip over huge canyons, barrel-roll through rings of fire and smash your way through the competition with the crazy power ups including: - purple-hot Laser Wang, crushing Monsta Mode, tommy-gun wielding Mob Mode and the almost useless Mole Mode… then do it all again to your friends in split screen multiplayer Party Play.
Cosmic Express is a track-building puzzler where you are tasked with building a path of train tracks in order to solve progressively difficult puzzles. It is presented in a cute and colorful fashion, that should appeal to the majority of people looks-wise. The gameplay itself can be quite challenging, and there is a ton of it to explore. So for those looking for something that should last them a while and offer a worthy challenge, Cosmic Express is a good choice. This is a completely upfront paid game that costs $4.99. There are zero in-app purchases or advertisements to be found within.
Cosmic Express is a puzzle game about planning the train route for the world's most awkward space colony, from the minds behind A Good Snowman Is Hard To Build and the art of Tyu from Klondike. It's cute, harder than it looks, and guaranteed to give you hours of frustrating fun across hundreds of levels. No in-app-purchases or ads.
Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet
Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet is a highly polished point and click adventure game. A genre that works quite well on Android and its touch only controls. The voice acting found in the game is superb. The art and writing are also top-notch, which was coincidently done by a professional comedian. Something that harkens back to what I said before, that this is definitely a game with a lot of polish. Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet is also a singularly priced game at $2.99, where there are zero in-app purchases or advertisements contained within.
Pirate heroine Nelly Cootalot takes on the evil Baron Widebeard in this hilarious adventure game. Meet an outlandish cast of characters featuring the voice of Tom Baker (Dr Who), and face perplexing challenges in your search for the Treasure of the Seventh Sea. Join Nelly and explore a hand-drawn world created by award-winning comedian Alasdair Beckett-King. Nelly’s journey will take her from Port Rubicund in the South Seas to the lonely isle of Gloomholm in the icy north. Help Nelly solve puzzles and defeat the most formidable husband and wife team in the bird-kidnapping industry.
Clickers, tappers, idle games, whatever you want to call them have definitely found a home on Android. It seems that there are so many to choose from anymore that it can be difficult to find one that suits your desires. Kittens Game looks to be aiming for a general spreadsheet type of look. For some of you, this may be a turn-off, for others, it should hit the mark and hit it hard. A clicker game that has you building a village for anthropomorphic kittens, it is all presented in the simplest of style. There is no fluff to be found here, just simple clicker game goodness. We are even blessed with a singular price of $0.99, all with no in-app purchases or advertisements rearing their ugly head.
Kittens Game is a village simulation text game. You manage a village of kittens as they acquire resources and unlock new technologies. This is an old school game and a product of many years of love and hard labor. It does not have any ads or micro-transactions.
Sometimes you just feel like destroying a city with an overpowered tank. Then there are other times that you may want to just blow up your friends with a tank. Each scenario is thankfully covered in Infinite Tanks, a multiplayer and solo tank battle game. From the outset, this looks to be a solid multiplayer game that has one thing holding it back. Normally having an upfront price is a good thing, but when it comes to multiplayer games, (especially on mobile) having a fee to play will inhibit the number of people playing. Priced at $4.99, the entry fee isn't all that bad, especially considering that there are no advertisements or in-app purchases in the game. Sadly that does not mean that the game will be packed with players.
Infinite Tanks features exactly what the name suggests – huge content - never ending lines of modern combat vehicles, huge environments with realistic weather, online multiplayer and countless single player missions and drills.Infinite Tanks also upgrades the tank sim genre by giving players the ability to design and upgrade their own impenetrable vehicles, allowing them to truly step into the driver's seat. The game features an innovative card-driven building system, which allows players to mix, match and trade individual tank parts, including engines, bodies, tracks, turrets, mines, mortars, upgrades and obviously guns, to create an incredibly diverse array of powerful and versatile vehicles.
From the looks alone, Guards 3D appears to be a solid title. Once you dive in, there seems to be little in the way of explanations on how the mechanics work. Sure there is a tutorial mode, where it tries to explain the complicated gameplay, but it fails at explaining fully what it is you are meant to be doing. It also doesn't help that the presentation of this explainer text is difficult to read. Hopefully this can be polished up with time, but for now, I am not sure I can recommend this game. Guards 3D is priced at $1.99 and there are no advertisements or in-app purchases within.
Play by the 4-heroes team. Defend against the hordes of monsters, plan your moves, improve your abilities. Defeat all the enemies on each level and join the deadly fight with Boss. The main feature of the game is a unique turn-based battle system. You command the team of 4 heroes, 3 of which are fighting on the front line, while the 4th is recovering health behind the backs of his team-mates. To make a move you need to change positions of any two heroes. If the hero moves from the back line to the front, he uses superattack.
Knight For Hire
A different take on the slicing/chopping genre of games, you will be swiping your way through hordes of enemies in order to earn as many coins as you can. These coins can then be used to unlock new hero skins. What is missing is the cost of these skins, so it stays unknown how long it will take to unlock any of them. The swiping mechanic also feels a bit unbalanced, as all you really need to do is swipe up or slightly diagonally in order to continue as long as you want without much trouble. Overall Knight For Hire could be a pretty fun time waster if there was a little more balancing and information added to the presentation. Thankfully this is an "unreleased" released game, so hopefully, these things will get addressed. Currently, the game is free-to-play with advertisements in between some rounds and zero in-app purchases.
Bored of chopping timber yet? Looking for a good action packed adventure? Knight for hire is just what you need providing you the best IO like oldschool arcade style casual game. Become the knight or ninja slash your way through goblins, orcs and trolls in a icy viking land.. Connect all enemies and kill them in a single strike. Collect coins and make money for the next hero in your collection. Ready to put your skills in test ? This game is all about slash hit and dont let your enemies slash you in the face.
- Easy to understand one touch gameplay to slash your sword and devour thousands of orcs, goblins and trolls
- Collect coins and unlock MANU skins
- Optimized small sized game with no lag at all.
Hovercrash definitely uses bright colors and minimal design to its advantage, as this is a handsome looking endless-runner. The controls, on the other hand, could use some tightening. As is, the game is pretty darn challenging, but in a frustrating way, thanks to the overly floaty controls. Honestly, I am unable to make it that far in the game, as there are so many obstacles that they become too difficult to avoid. The developer has been responsive to this complaint on the Play Store, so hopefully, the controls will be addressed. This is a free-to-play title with advertisements and in-app purchases that range up to $2.49. The ads can be removed with an IAP of $0.99, or you can pay the $2.49 IAP in order to remove ads and unlock all of the games ships.
Hovercrash is a fast, minimal arcade racer with thrills, tunnels and turbo boosts. Choose your high-speed anti-gravity ship and hit (or actually hover) the road. Dodge weird and dangerous obstacles as you try to survive for as long as possible. And when you learn the basics, lift your finger off the screen and increase your score multiplier even faster. Stunning graphics, energetic EDM soundtrack and simple one finger controls make Hovercrash one unique high-score chasing experience.
- High-speed arcade racing in colourful, futuristic landscape
- Easy-to-learn one finger controls
- Google Play Games leaderboard and achievements
- Unlockable anti-gravity ships
- Energetic EDM soundtrack
Satellite offers a minimalist game in the truest sense, a dot and a few circles are all that you will see on screen during gameplay. The idea is simple, tap on the screen in order to shoot off your satellite towards the next planet. Timing is key here, as you want the satellite to orbit the next planet, not crash into it or miss it completely. This in and of itself is a pretty fun but difficult task. A game of levels and high scores, there is plenty for the player to occupy themselves with for a while. Satellite is a free-to-play title that offers advertisements between rounds and in-app purchases that range up to $9.99. The ads can be removed with a singular IAP of $2.49.
Travel through the minimalist universe of Satellite, jumping from planet to planet by enteing in their orbits. Just touch the screen to make the satellite jump through the next planet. Travel as far as you can, compete against your friends with this simple and funny game, perfect as time killer.
A mashup of a rhythm game with the looks of a fighting game, DuelBeats is all flash and no substance. Something akin to a Facebook game, you will be forever trying to earn enough coins to unlock the rest of the game's characters. Using a gacha system, you won't even know what character you will unlock, thus elongating how much time you will need to spend on gaining access to the rest of the characters. The in-app purchases are not as egregious as some free-to-play games, though they do go as high as $39.99. There are also advertisements in the game, which look to be used for earning in-game currency.
Headphones on and fingers primed - Duel Beats is bringing the fight to mobile. Designed to get the pulse racing, Duel Beats is a competitive VS beat rhythm battle game. Take down your friends in adrenaline fueled musical battles where each tap and swipe inflicts major damage. Perfect your tap timing to amp up the volume of damage. Win tap sync battles by breaking your opponent's defenses and depleting their health bar. Earn coins to summon new powerful heroes each with mesmerising special abilities.
Too Many Dangers
Too Many Dangers, more like too many endless runners. Yep, we have yet another endless runner on our hands here, bringing nothing new to the table at all. There are missions, challenges, and tons of unlockables, but I fail to see what could make the game intriguing. The basics are you, running on a two-track path, trying to avoid a T-Rex behind you and all of the obstacles in front. You, of course, earn currency while running, which will allow you to unlock new runners and power-ups. Basically, this is a caveman skin on the same game you have played a hundred times. My favorite part, though, is where they load huge advertisements on the start screen of the game. Before you even start Too Many Dangers, the developers are hitting you up with ads. Let's also not forget the in-app purchases, which run all the way up to $45.99. It is unknown if any purchase in the game will remove the ever-present ads.
You have been abducted by aliens and now you have to fight to survive. It won't be easy because everything is out to get you in this unique style runner, just check out its features:
- 300 missions
- Daily challenges
- Unlockable characters
- Crazy contraptions
- Insane Boss fights
- Meteor showers
- Monstrous robots
- Giant boulders
- Carnivorous plants
- Dinosaur stampedes
- The hungry T-REX
- And more... Much more.
Board Kings is described as an online multiplayer focused board game, but what you get is the regular single player focused game that mimics your friends when you play "against them". Much like Clash of Clans in that sense. There are of course features where you can use your friends for help, but it takes little to no timing or effort from them. Really it is just used as a way to advertise to your friends in order to draw them into the game. If you have been looking for Clash of Clans like gameplay, with a board game theme, Board Kings may just be for you. If you are looking for an actual game with meaning and gameplay, you will probably want to skip this. There are no advertisements in Board Kings, but as you would expect, there are in-app purchases that range up to $79.99 per item.

War of Crown
Have you ever wanted the gameplay of Final Fantasy Tactics, but with the added benefit of being nickel and dimed the entire time you play. Well, guess what, Gamevil has you covered with their newest release War of Crown. A gacha game at its core, War of Crown is a tactical RPG with both player vs environment and player vs player. Like most Gamevil games, the presentation is fantastic and the game itself starts out pretty easy. It is only once you have invested time into the game that you will see that those that pay the most will perform the best. There are both advertisements and in-app purchases in the game, with the latter going as high as $99.99 per item.

Atomic Super Lander
Atomic Super Lander, as the name suggests, is a lander game where the core mechanic is a balancing act of landing a spacecraft. Lander games are not new territory for Android, but Atomic Super Lander does add a lot on top of the basic landing gameplay. There is an actual story to the game, with an overworld that adds some substance through upgradeables and new equipment. Yes, this is a free-to-play game with all of the bad elements we are familiar with, but it is at least done so in a fresh way that stays entertaining for a good while. There are advertisements and in-app purchases found in Atomic Super Lander. The IAPs run as high as $99.99 per item, where any purchase will remove the forced ads.

Boggle With Friends
It was inevitable that Hasbro would team up with Zynga on a word themed mobile game. Boggle looks to be the game they chose. A multiplayer word game where you have a grid of letters presented to you and your opponents, to then bet tasked with finding as many word combinations in the grid as possible. As you would expect with Zynga, there are advertisements in the game as well as in-app purchases that go as high as $99.99 per item.
Are you a word genius with a nostalgia for classic family games? Then join the millions of Boggle players in the new mobile game Boggle With Friends. Brought to you by the creator of the world’s most popular word game, Words With Friends, Boggle With Friends is just as fun as the board game original with new, challenging twists.
Crash of Cars
Crash of cars has only soft-launched recently and so is only available in Canada and Australia. Those of you in those regions can download the game today. A cartoony "last man standing" multiplayer racer, Crash of Cars offers a ton of game content as well as plenty of customizations. While the gameplay is focused on multiplayer action, there is a single player mode included for those that prefer to go it solo. The game does contain advertisements and in-app purchases but it is unclear at this time what those IAPs will range up to, or if they will remove the ads. There is also a lack of controller support, but that may change before the official release.

Mass Effect: Andromeda APEX HQ
Not quite a game, Mass Effect: Andromeda APEX HQ is a companion app for Mass Effect: Andromeda. It allows you to customize character loadouts as well as send team members out on missions in order to passively earn in-game currency. There are also areas designated for reading news directly from the developer, making this as much an app for free advertising, as it is useful to the player. Something that EA is often fond of, using anything and everything as an avenue for more money. The app itself is completely free with no advertisements or in-app purchases.
