The Moto Z is Motorola's flagship this year, and the company's first attempt at a phone with modular add-ons. Unfortunately, the phone didn't get great reviews (including from us). The small internal battery, lack of a headphone jack, and the expensive Moto Mods all hurt the phone's success. However, the Moto Z's performance, software experience, and thinness are hard to beat. Now Amazon is selling the phone (for the next 11 hours at the time of writing) for $499, a whopping $200 off the normal unlocked price.

I'm not sure I would recommend this phone, even at $499, but it's there if you want it. Keep in mind that this unlocked version only works with GSM networks; only the Moto Z Droid is compatible with Verizon's network. If you do want to buy it, at least you can rest easy knowing it will have Android 7.0 Nougat.

Amazon is offering the same deal again on the Moto Z Droid as Cyber Monday. It's down to $499 now at the same link as the one below. Thanks, Jared Smith!
