Although the HTC 10 is quite a nice flagship, many laughed at the Taiwanese company for pricing it at $699. However, HTC's website is now offering the 10 in any carrier model and any color for $549. That's $150 off MSRP, and it makes the 10 a much more compelling buy.

In case you've forgotten, the 10 is equipped with a 5.2-inch 1440p LCD display, a Snapdragon 820, 4GB of RAM, a 12MP "UltraPixel 2" camera with OIS, a 5MP front-facing camera with OIS, and a 3000mAh battery. It's also got dual speakers, a great DAC, USB Type-C with Quick Charge 3.0, and a fingerprint sensor. Even in a world where devices with the Snapdragon 821 and 6GB of RAM are coming out, the 10 still has decent specs and features.

For $549, you can snag any 10 from HTC, whether it be the T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, or unlocked model. All color variants are included in the sale, but the new Camellia Red (not currently in stock, will be in early October) and Topaz Gold finishes are only available for the unlocked version. Plus, since you're buying directly from HTC, a year of UH-OH protection is included; that means that you'll be eligible for one free replacement if your 10 gets water damaged or cracked.

The sale will last from October 1st (that's today) to October 8th at 8:59PM PT, and there's a 4 device purchase limit per customer. If you'd like to finance, you can use PayPal Credit.

In addition to this sale, HTC is giving away HTC Vives, 10s, and RE cameras as part of their "Green is Good" sweepstakes. The winners will be announced on October 8th at 10:08AM PST (get it, 10/08 at 10:08?) on their Facebook page. You can sign up for that here.
