We've highlighted each entry of the Sorcery! series as they've arrived on Android, because each has been a compelling blend of a 'Choose Your Own Adventure" book with a tabletop RPG. Sorcery! 4: The Crown of Kings has arrived, and now it's time to see how your particular story is going to end.

Each Sorcery! release contains sketched artwork, stylish animations, a skeuomorphic interface, and oodles of charm. The games are based on the pen and paper game-books of the same name from Steve Jackson, and the inspiration is clear. The style has been consistent, but each release adds something new to the table. The third one added plenty of depth and Chrono Trigger-style time travel.

This time around the game contains a full tutorial to get new players up to speed, as you can start the series at part 4 without missing out on too much. Another addition is the ability to don disguises that allow you to go unseen. As always, the decisions you make will decide how the story ends, but this time it's the last chapter. Though you always have the option to play again if you want the story to go differently.

Sorcery! 4 is available for $4.99, and there are no in-app purchases. Buy the game, download, and enjoy the adventure. While you're at it, you can grab the title for your laptop via Steam or the Humble Store.
