The Galaxy Note7 recall, despite Samsung's best efforts, has severely hurt the company's public image. I do give Samsung credit for not only acknowledging that they messed up, but working as hard as possible to address the issue. Tim Baxter, President & COO of Samsung Electronics America, recently made a public statement on behalf of the company to address the Note7 recall.

The video mostly just summarizes what we already know. He states that users with Note7 phones should immediately stop using them and return them, new Note7 devices will be in stock "no later than September 21," and the battery issue is obviously fixed with the new stock. He also covers that Samsung has been working with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission to ensure the recall goes according to plan, as we previously covered yesterday.
