OnePlus 2 owners, be on the look out for a new update. The 2016 Flagship Killer is receiving OxygenOS 3.1.0, which is rolling out incrementally starting today.

Here is the list of the new stuff from the forum posting.

  • Fixed some notification issues
  • Improved Doze Mode performance
  • Added media sound toggle for alert slider
  • Addressed alert slider/silent mode issue
  • Implemented August 1 security patches for Android
  • Implemented Quadrooter patch
  • General bug fixes

One thing missing that quite a few people in the thread have noted is VoLTE support. This ominously absent feature has many vocal users, especially those in India, up in arms. There is also no word on some of the bugs users have with the camera, but maybe that is lumped into the "General fixes" section in the changelog.

You can visit the downloads page to get the zip file and use ADB sideload to update if you do not want to wait for the OTA.

Hopefully, OnePlus 2 owners will get the same attention with updates going forward as those with the OnePlus 3.
