The Android update news this week has been all Nougat all the time. But what of the lowly Samsung Galaxy S5? AT&T is rolling out an update during Nougat week, but it's only Android 6.0 Marshmallow. I mean, not that Marshmallow is bad, but running just a little late, aren't you AT&T?

The OTA will include all the usual Marshmallow tweaks like Doze mode, granular notifications, and Google Now on Tap. Here's AT&T's changelog.

  • Android OS 6.0 (Marshmallow)
  • Wi-Fi Calling
  • Video Calling
  • Android device security enhancements

The update will have build number MMB29M and should weigh in at nearly 1GB. AT&T requires updates to be downloaded on WiFi, and you can only check for updates once per day. Make sure you've got a good connection before you start downloading.
