Okay, here's the thing about the Xperia X—it's not worth the asking price. The $550 device just launched a few days ago, and it's already on sale. Multiple retailers have knocked $50 off the price tag, making it a little more reasonable. If you were on the fence, this is a good chance to pick one up.

The Xperia X is the not-quite-flagship phone in Sony's new X series. It has a 5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 650, 3GB of RAM, and a (bad) 23MP camera. The Xperia X is $499.99 at Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H. You can also get a free pair of Samsung Level U Bluetooth headphones if you buy the phone from B&H. It comes in four different colors, all of which appear to be on sale.

In case it's not clear, I was not impressed with this phone, but far be it from me to tell you what to do. A sale is a sale.
