It's update Wednesday, but it's been a bit of a slow one so far. Things are picking up with the Google Keep update. It's rolling out now with a revamped search feature, though. With this update, you'll be able to access automatically generated search topics without typing a thing. No update showing on your devices yet? We've got you covered.
You can access the auto-labels simply by tapping the search button at the top of the screen. It feels a little like Google Photos the way it categorizes all your notes. Keep previously offered quick links to note types like reminders, lists, images, and so on. The same goes for all your personal labels, colors, and sharing contacts. The new feature is called "Things." It looks at the content of your notes and decides what sort of thing it might be—travel, food, music, whatever.
After tapping on one of the options in the search interface (things or any of the old ones), you can then search within that group. It even includes both active and archived notes. This could be very handy for heavy Keep users. We've got the updated version on APK Mirror if you want it without waiting.
