After updating more recent flagship devices to Marshmallow in March, Sony commenced its Marshmallow rollout for other phones and tablets in its range earlier this month, including the Xperia Z2, the Z3, and the Z3 Compact. Now the Japanese consumer electronics company is updating more of the Xperia line to Marshmallow, including the Z2 Tablet, the Xperia Z3 Dual, and other Z2/Z3 variants from around the world.

According to Xperiablog, the only devices which got the update earlier in April were those in the Beta Marshmallow (also known as the Concept builds) program. Naturally, it makes sense those were updated first, and then other similar devices follow suit. As such, those getting the update now include the Z2 D6502, the Z3 D6646, D6653, and Z3 Compact D5833. The build they are receiving is 23.5.A.0.570, which is Marshmallow 6.0.1.

The Sony Xperia Z2/Z3 variants that have so far been updated to Marshmallow include (devices receiving the update now in bold):

Xperia Z2 – D6502, D6503

Xperia Z3 – D6603, D6646, D6653

Xperia Z3 Dual – D6633

Xperia Z3 Compact – D5803, D5833

Xperia Z2 Tablet – SGP511, SGP512, SGP521

It remains to be seen whether one of the major devices that seems to have been missed out here, the Z3 Tablet, will receive Marshmallow.
