Operation Dracula

Android Police coverage: Operation Dracula Is A New 'Bullet Hell' Shooter From Crescent Moon Games

Crescent Moon's latest game on the Play Store is a loving throwback to some of the more ridiculous top-down space shooters of yore. Operation Dracula is absolutely packed with bullets, enemies, screen-filling bosses, and a surprising amount of colorful animation (the genre seems to have become somewhat muted as of late). 80s-style action tropes and synth-rock are used heavily. $3 gets you the game with no in-app purchases.

Operation Dracula is a rip roaring bullet hell shooter that will scramble your brain and your fingers. Its an over the top arcade shoot-em-up inspired by the classic shmups. This all wouldn't be complete without the awesome 80's style 16 bit pixel art and fantastic Japanese style soundtrack.

  • 3 Playable characters (Plus one bonus character to unlock.)
  • 5 Huge bosses and 4 mini bosses.
  • Wailing Japanese guitar solos
  • Built in Music Player with more than 30 awesome gaming music in the original version
  • Extreme Challenge - not for the feint at heart.

LEGO® Jurassic World™

Android Police coverage: LEGO Jurassic World Lets Players Explore All Four Movies As The Real Stars: The Dinosaurs

At the rate they're going LEGO is going to have tie-in games for every single new movie, including the latest Amity Horror reboot and pretentious Oscar-bait. But that doesn't make the core platforming/puzzle/combat/building game elements any less fun, even if you don't like the License of the Week. In addition to plasticky non-offensive romps through no less than four Jurassic Park movies, LEGO Jurassic World also lets you stomp around an environment as plastic dinosaurs.

Following the epic storylines of Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III, as well as the global smash hit Jurassic World, LEGO Jurassic World™ is the first videogame where you can relive and experience all four colossal films. Reimagined in LEGO form and told in TT Games’ signature classic LEGO humor, this thrilling adventure recreates unforgettable scenes and action sequences from the films, allowing fans worldwide to play through key moments and giving them the opportunity to fully explore the expansive grounds of Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna.

Disney Crossy Road

Android Police coverage: Disney Crossy Road Hops Into The Play Store

Disney Crossy Road is, appropriately, Crossy Road with a Disney theme. Aside from the licensed characters and themed levels, it's the familiar Frogger-style gameplay with voxel graphics that you're used to. It's fun if not groundbreaking, and you can unlock individual characters with $1 in-app purchases.

Why should the chicken get all the fun? From Hipster Whale, the makers of the original Crossy Road™ with over 120,000,000 downloads, and Disney comes Disney Crossy Road—an all-new take on the 8-bit endless adventure to cross the road without splatting. Tap and swipe your way to a record-setting number of steps with 100+ Disney and Pixar figurines while dodging crazy and unexpected obstacles in the 8-bit worlds of Toy Story, Zootopia, The Lion King, The Haunted Mansion, Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, and more.

KINGDOM HEARTS Unchained χ

Android Police coverage: Kingdom Hearts X, A Browser Game Based On The Popular Square-Enix-Disney Universe, Gets An 'Unchained' Android Port

Amazingly, this is the first entry in the sprawling Kingdom Hearts series to make its way to mobile platforms. In Kingdom Hearts you use action-RPG sensibilities to defeat bad guys in a seizure-inducing fusion of Final Fantasy and Disney animated settings. X Unchained is a mobile port of a web game, so while it features a lot of familiar elements from the series, it's also a bit shallow and prone to asking you for money.

Adventure across Disney’s magical and wondrous worlds in the first mobile app for the beloved KINGDOM HEARTS series. KINGDOM HEARTS is a tale about Light and Friendship overcoming the power of Darkness. Over the last 15 years, millions of fans have experienced the epic tale of King Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and more than 100 Disney characters joining forces with Sora, Keyblade warriors, and heroes from Square Enix’s popular FINAL FANTASY video game series as they battle to protect their friends and save all worlds from the Heartless.

Talisman: The Horus Heresy

Android Police coverage: Talisman: The Horus Heresy Puts The Popular Board Game In A Warhammer 40,000 Setting

Talisman is a decades-old fantasy-themed board game. Warhammer 40K is a decades-old sci-fi-themed tabletop RPG... based on a fantasy-themed tabletop RPG. So yeah, saying this game is "niche" doesn't even begin to cover it. But if you like the machinations of Talisman and you're already elbow-deep in the dense lore of the Warhammer franchise, it offers some interesting interpretations of both of them.

Talisman: The Horus Heresy is a digital board game based on the Talisman rule system and set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, during the cataclysmic events of the Horus Heresy. Up to four players will be able to take control of one or more of the galaxy’s greatest heroes or most notorious villains. Taking the side of either traitor or loyalist, these Warlords will form vast companies of Space Marines, battalions of tanks and battlefleets of Spacecraft. They are the most powerful beings in the Galaxy and their followers are legion.

Flight of the Amazon Queen

Android Police coverage: MojoTouch Releases Classic Adventure Game 'Flight Of The Amazon Queen' On The Play Store

Flight of the Amazon Queen is an adventure story set in the tough-as-nails 1940s, when men were men and women were women and babies were women and dogs were women and dinosaur monstrosities created by a mad scientist were also women. OK, so the narrative isn't exactly bristling with new ideas, but that's why it's a parody. Fans of the original game can play in "retro mode" for the classic experience or go a bit easier with modern controls and upgraded graphics and sound.

The year is 1949 and you assume the role of Joe King, a pilot for hire who is given the job of flying Faye Russell (a famous movie star) into the Amazon jungle for a photo shoot. Of course, things never go according to plans. After an unfortunate turn of events they find themselves stranded in the heart of the Amazon jungle, where Joe will embark on a quest to rescue a kidnapped princess and in the process, encounter a dangerous temple, fearsome Amazonian warriors, and a powerful mad scientist intent on taking over the world.

R.B.I. Baseball 16

Android Police coverage: R.B.I. Baseball Is Back For 2016 Just In Time For Opening Day, But Changes From Last Year Are Minor

RBI Baseball has been around for a long time - I remember playing it on my Genesis way back in the early 90s. And just like the old cartridge games, the new ones don't look very different from year to year. That said, five bucks isn't a bad price for a roster update (it beats EA, anyway), and the 2016 version improves fielding actions and pitching mechanics, and it adds in an enhanced version of the opposing team AI.

Make the play with your favorite Major League Baseball team and win the World Series.

  • Feel The Action: Fun, fast-paced, classic gameplay returns with more fielding moves like dives, wall catches and more.
  • Your Team, Your Season: Modify your team’s lineup with complete MLB rosters including over 1,100 MLBPA players. Play the entire season or sim to the crucial games.
  • Authentic Ballparks: All 30 MLB ballparks feature unique characteristics, enhanced graphics, daytime and nighttime games.
  • New and Improved: More balanced gameplay with our revamped defensive AI, improved batting engine and reworked pitching strategy.

Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2

Android Police coverage: Marvel Avengers Alliance 2 Is Out Of Geo-Limited Beta

Avengers Alliance, a Facebook turn-based "kill everything in the top-down world and get stuff off their corpses" RPG, seems to have received a sequel surprisingly quickly. But then perhaps Marvel is simply aping the practices of its own movie studio. The second game tosses the cardboard cutouts in favor of full 3D heroes and bad guys, but you'll still be controlling your party in turns and using the heavy-handed currency system to upgrade them and their equipment.

Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2 is the massive sequel to the smash hit Marvel: Avengers Alliance, with a robust mobile gaming experience, greater customization, and amazing high quality visuals. Assemble a team with the Avengers, Daredevil, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, and other Super Heroes to battle Ultron, Baron Strucker, and more epic Super Villains. A mysterious series of galactic collisions, known as Incursions, threaten the fate of Earth.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!

Android Police coverage: Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, First Announced For The SHIELD Android TV At Launch, Is Finally Available On The Play Store

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is the third entry in the extremely popular Borderlands first-person shooter series. It's also one of the PC games that highlighted NVIDIA's announcement of the SHIELD Android TV over a year ago. The game is finally available, as a SHIELD TV exclusive of course, and it hasn't lost any of the features of the generally well-received PC version. Multiple playable classes, a sprawling sci-fi storyline, online 4-player co-op, and more guns than you can shake a bunch of guns at are all present.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is a new role-playing shooter in the critically acclaimed Borderlands series. Play as four all-new character classes while carving a path of destructive mayhem across Pandora’s never-before-seen low-gravity moonscapes with all new moves, weapons, and vehicles. Get high with low gravity and jump right in to fight alongside future megalomaniacal tyrant Handsome Jack, while preventing the destruction of Pandora and its moon.

Hammer Bomb

Hammer Bomb is an interesting anomaly: a pixelated (well, voxels, but you know what I mean) first-person runner that mixes conventional endless runner gameplay with dungeon crawling sensibilities. Players run along labyrinth stages collecting gear, avoiding traps, killing monsters, and eating lots and lots of junk food while admiring the Minecraft-inspired visuals and using simple tap-and-swipe controls. The game is free, and in-app purchases for currency are limited to two bucks.

Are you ready to enter dark mazes and dungeons - full of monster hordes and traps? Then brave the dungeon, Sir Hammer Bomb. Rescue your soldiers and find the treasure. Hammer Bomb is a new twist on dungeon style arcade games. Easy controls for anyone to play, but only a few will master. Drop bombs to open secret areas to find the best treasures. Go on quests looking for various types of treats. Cake, Pizza, Hot Dogs, Soda, and more.

Flail Rider

In Flail Rider, you drive a car with a giant ball and chain rolling behind it. Aside from the fact that it's an awesome concept from the Mad Max school of vehicular destruction, it's a fun way to combine physics and driving. The only real objective in the game is to smash everything on a given level within the time limit, earning upgraded cars and power-ups as you go along. New vehicles can be unlocked Flappy Birds-style for a dollar each, and there's a coin doubler for $4.

Blow EVERYTHING up with a giant flail attached to your vehicle. Flail Rider is a colorful, fast-paced, top down arcade racing game. Drive, drift, destroy and warp from one area to another. The more environment destroyed with your spiked ball, the higher the score. Collect coins to unlock new vehicles: Tank, Monster Truck, Tuk-Tuk, Hotrod or the Catmobile to name a few of the 50 cars available. Vehicles are spread in 3 classes: Small, Medium and Large.

The Slimeking's Tower (No ads)

The Slimeking's Tower is set up like a dungeon crawler, but the control scheme makes it more of a fast-paced, top-down shooter. It's kind of like the old Zelda and Rambo games had a bastard child. There are plenty of levels to explore and a variety of bad stuff to kill while you explore them, all without an in-app purchase to be seen. This paid version also has no ads, but if you'd prefer a free option, an ad-supported game is also available.

Are you looking for the ultimate adventure game that offers you incredible gameplay and a stellar soundtrack? Welcome to The Slimeking's Tower, an amazing, action packed game that allows you to explore a massive set of dungeons with one single goal, and that is to get rid of all slime that comes in your way. The Slimeking's Tower allows you to acquire items as you eliminate slime, and these can be used in order to further improve your abilities.

Prison Run and Gun

Prison Run and Gun is a classic Contra-style platforming game with, appropriately, lots and lots of gunplay. Though the setup is simple (you're a prisoner blasting his way out of the pen), the gameplay is fast and brutal with plenty of puzzle elements to lean on. The game is two dollars with no ads or in-app purchases, and it includes 30 stages.

Prison Run and Gun is a retro puzzle platformer with the modern gameplay and mechanics. The recent events in a state prison, involving Jake and the others, was a perfect moment for some prisoners to escape - you are one of them. Use your skills and the guns to break through 30 sections standing between you and the freedom .

Slide the Shakes

You know that movie scene where the bartender effortlessly slides a patron a drink across ten yards of perfectly-waxed bar top? This is that, made into a casual game. Your goal is to swipe with varying degrees of power to land the shake on the target, without letting it slip off the edge or any of the gaps or drops on the way. It's free with a single $1 in-app purchase for skipping levels.

You have so many delicious milkshakes. Slide them along the bar, but don't let them fall.

  • Over 125 sweet levels
  • Stunning shakes to unlock
  • Interesting milkshake facts
  • Shakes are awesome.

The Greedy Cave

The Greedy Cave is a grid-based dungeon crawler. The art style is reminiscent of the hand-drawn characters in Don't Starve, but the root gameplay is much older, with the only real objective being to venture further into the cave and upgrade your weapons and spells. The levels are generated randomly, as is the loot, so fans of roguelike games should get a kick out of it. In-app purchases go up to a rather pricey $50.

In a land far, far away there once was a vast continent called Milton. It was a land where the power of rule came by the sword and the arcane, where Men who devoted themselves to the blade or to magecraft, could become the finest warriors, wisest wizards or the greatest adventurers. In this land, there are several kingdoms divided by borders but united through history. Countless stories of alliances, upheaval, and moments of peace bedeck this tapestry, but that is a tale for another day.

Goo Saga

Goo Saga is a fairly standard platformer, but the protagonist is an animate ball of goo. That’s more useful (and relevant) than it sounds like, since the various shifting states it takes can help you get past obstacles and solve puzzles, sort of like Samus’ morph ball from Metroid. The graphics are bright and charming, and there aren’t any ads or in-app purchases to be seen.

Goo Saga is a platform adventure game where the player guides an elastic creature named Goo in a perilous journey to find his creator – and with him, the mysterious purpose of his own creation. Will Goo succeed? Puzzles, deadly traps and an army of foes in a labyrinthine underwater lab block his way. Goo’s destiny is in the player’s hands.

MechCom 2 - 3D RTS

Real-time strategy doesn't have a huge following on Android, unless you count legions of base-builders and Clash of Clans knock-offs (and I don't). MechCom 2 is rare in that it's both an RTS and a sequel, and holy of holies, it's just a buck with no in-app purchases! The layout is pretty basic, focusing on gathering resources, expanding your tech tree, and managing units, but that's all you need to get a strategy gamer's pulse up.

MechCom 2 is a real-time strategy game inspired by Warzone 2100. Set up new bases, collect resources and design your own mechs to crush the enemy. The game keeps everything you like in the original while adding new mechanics and improvements. In XXII century multinational corporations have grown in size and become more influential than the world's governments. The most powerful of them explore space for valuable resources.

Chameleon Run

At first glance Chameleon Run looks like a bog-standard endless runner with some nice graphical effects. And while the latter is true, it also has some rather novel additions to the well-trodden genre, like the ability to slow time and a color-switching mechanic that keeps players on their toes (no pun intended). If you find yourself wishing for a new runner game with a fresh coat of paint, give it a try.

Chameleon Run is a unique, fast and challenging autorunner with a colorful twist. Jump, switch and run through expertly crafted levels that will have you running back for more. Your goal is to switch your color to match the ground as you run and jump from platform to platform. Sounds easy right? Well think again.

  • Fast paced running, jumping and switching colors
  • Fun jumping mechanics like "double jump" and "head jump"
  • Pixel perfect physics
  • Stylish, super smooth and colorful graphics
  • Non-linear levels with 3 special objectives in each one
  • Compete for the fastest time on each level
  • Simple two button controls

Out of the Void

Broadly a platforming game, Out of the Void is more interested in puzzles that stem from its non-gravitational setup. Your character can do freaky stuff to the minimalistic environments in order to progress past each stage, and once you get through them all, you’re encouraged to make your own stages and share them online.

Out of the Void is a puzzle-platformer based on space modification. A robot is lost in the void and you have to help him out. The aim of the game is simple and clear, in every level you have to reach the exit, but it will not be easy to succeed. Each level is made up of geometric shapes, lines, prisms, and the character can move inside or out of them, turn them inside out and jump around.

Dream Machine - The Game

Dream Machine is one part Tetris, three parts Monument Valley, and one part steampunk enthusiast's doodle book. The isometric viewpoint, muted colors, and super-slow platforming maze setup are undeniably derivative, but that doesn't necessarily mean "bad." If you're absolutely starved for this kind of game (which seems unlikely, considering how many of them have popped up lately), give it a try.

Escape a cold, inhumane factory and free yourself into a mind-blowing fantasy world. Manipulate fantastical machinery and solve the many mysterious optical illusions that lie in wait. Use all your ability to survive hazardous levels and fight epic boss battles. Guide your mechanical friend from an oppressive workplace and lead them to freedom. Is it real or simply an illusion? Drift into the dream of the machine and find the truth.

LEGO® Star Wars™ Force Builder

LEGO Force Builder is a LEGO game that's all about building LEGO. (That is, surprisingly, not a given for most LEGO games.) It allows players to build custom spaceships from the Star Wars series of sets, customizing them with new parts for some fairly trivial game segments in order to unlock new parts and do even better. It's not as fun as real LEGOs, but then it's free, so beggars can't be choosers.

Unleash your creativity and master your Force to become the next great Jedi Master Builder with the LEGO Star Wars Force Builder App. Use the Force Builder to construct and fly ships of your own design. Recreate starships from the Star Wars movies, or mix engines, wings, and blasters to invent new vehicles with unique strengths. Build for speed, maneuverability, or firepower, and then choose a pilot and take your vehicles into the Test Tunnel to see how they withstand a barrage of environments and obstacles.

Rumble Arena

Here’s a fairly shameless Smash Bros clone, but since Nintendo doesn’t like to share its toys with the other kids, I’ll forgive it. The stock Nintendo characters are replaced with mythical figures, and the 2D fighting is fast and smooth. The developers say they’re working on multiplayer at the moment, so this is one to keep an eye on.

Join your favourite heroes from all corners of galaxy in their quests to become Legends. Up to 4 Heroes can duke it out in the arena. Throw your opponents off the stage and remain the last one standing to prove yourself a true legend. Experience and dominate the arena with the epic moves of Legendary heroes such as Thor, Wukong and Spartacus.

Star Billions

Star Billions seems to have a lot in common with Oregon Trail, except that your family has been replaced by adorable anthropomorphic creatures, your wagon is now a giant generational starship, and the American West is the vastness of space. Your job is to manage the crew and various artificial intelligences as you slowly progress through the universe, occasionally solving some fairly tame problems along the way by way of mini-games.

As they flee a dying Earth, the human race is in need of a new home. Who has the intelligence, the wisdom, the courage, and the empathy to save our species from extinction? Meet the crew of the Little Brother... The chain of command has been broken and it's up to you to decide who's in charge. Choose from four unique AIs to tackle dangerous and delicate situations as you guide the human race to a new home.

Galactic Pizza

Galactic Pizza is a basic puzzle game where you move stuff around, get sucked into portals, and avoid bad guys, all in the service of eating single slices of pizza on the floor. Seems kind of anti-climactic, really - surely you could just buy some more pizza? Anyway, the gameplay is a sort of real-time version of that sliding block puzzle in every RPG, with an extra Pac-Man/Bomberman spin on it thanks to the way enemies can also move their own blocks.

Galactic Pizza is an arcade puzzle game that takes you on a journey to a galaxy not so far away. You play as an intergalactic pizza boy whose pizzas have been stolen by a band of hungry aliens. In this game, you must make your way through the aliens hideout and get back all your precious pizzas slices. But be careful, these hideouts are filled with tricky puzzles and dangerous aliens.

  • Retro graphic style
  • Fast paced action
  • 60 different and challenging levels
  • 3 different types of controls(Swipe, virtual analog, and a virtual D-Pad)
  • No IAP or ads
  • Should support gamepads (Not tested yet)

International Pool

Pool is such a technically-minded game that it's fairly obvious why there are so many digital versions of it. It's the original physics game, and at this point graphics and physics engines have so outpaced it that developers have to cram in a ton of features to keep players interested. So it is with International Pool, a pool simulation so painstakingly accurate that it's only missing the arguments about the rules. It includes no less than four game variations, over a hundred AI opponents... and unfortunately, no multiplayer.

The number one Sports and Simulation cue-sports engine is unleashed on a dedicated Pool game for the first time ever. Showcasing some of the best ball and cloth physics you'll find outside a real pool hall, International Pool follows in the footsteps of the chart topping International Snooker series, featuring state of the art graphics and physics.

• US 8-Ball

• UK 8-Ball

• 12 Google Game services Leaderboards

• 128 AI opponents across four locations

Pull My Tongue

NoodleCake's latest casual game takes the Cut The Rope formula and more or less runs it backwards. It's your job to pull a chameleon's tongue and wrap it around stuff to collect stars with startling disregard for sanitary conditions. The premise is simple in a cat's cradle sort of way, and the developers have smartly ramped things up with new elements to stretch across almost 100 stages.

Meet Greg. A hungry little chameleon that loves popcorn. Help feed Greg by pulling his tongue through a series of fun puzzles that include, zappers, spikes, chewing gum, balloons and more.

  • 5 worlds with 90 levels
  • Cute and cuddly character
  • Deliciously unique tongue physics (yes there is such a thing)
  • Never before seen gameplay and puzzles

Forged in Battle: Man at Arms

You know that cool web series where a hardy blacksmith makes real versions of fantasy movie and video game weapons in his kick-ass forge? This is a game based on that show. Of course it doesn't have any actual licensed weapons, so instead you have to make generic medieval arms via minigames and then use them in generic medieval combat. The game is relatively cheap with in-app purchases that only go up to $4, but if you can't make ridiculous weapons from Final Fantasy, what's the point?

Like an ingot of iron, you will be... FORGED IN BATTLE.

  • Hone your forging abilities with five mini-games that make you feel like a true swordsmith
  • With your forged weapons, battle Lord Vandhar’s evil forces
  • Unleash apocalyptic battalion attacks to decimate your enemies
  • Gather resources throughout five unique battlefields and later use for improving your weapons’ effectiveness
  • Forged in Battle: Man at Arms is based on the hit web series, Man at Arms: Reforged

The Abandoned

The Abandoned is a 3D survival game, which Steam gamers know means "walk around a lot, gather crafting materials, run from stuff, rinse and repeat." Not many of these indie darlings have come to Android yet, but perhaps there's a reason for that: the visceral satisfaction at scrounging enough materials to create a Gilligan's Island radio is somewhat undermined when you can just pay for all of them with IAPs. Oh, and there are also zombies.

“The Abandoned” is an adventure game, where you need to survive in an area full of danger and mystery. Your goal is to stay alive and find the way out, fighting monsters and completing story driven missions. To stay alive you will need to hunt, gather supplies, build storage and asylums. You will be able to create tools, clothes and equipment. In due time your life will become quite comfortable, but the Zone is not exactly the best place to spend the rest of your time

NO THING - Surreal Arcade Trip

Surrealism is all well and good in small doses, but when it becomes the sole point of your game to the detriment of both story and gameplay, you might have gone too far. That's the case with NO THING, in which the only point is to turn left and right along a polygonal path. Well, that's the only gameplay element - the point is to be "tripped out" by the nonsensical graphics, electronic music, and synth-voice goblettygook.

The year is 1994 and it is the future. NO THING is an indie minimalistic surreal action game set in totalitarian regime of future. Tells the story of an office clerk who is sent with important message to the Queen of Ice.

  • unique, weird storyline
  • retro surrealistic full 3D graphic
  • glitches and post effects
  • full voiceover and speech synthesis
  • original cold wave music with over ten unique music themes
  • game center support
  • portrait mode and landscape mode supported
  • easy to play hard to master, very hard

The Jungle Book: Mowgli's Run

Temple Run takes place in a jungle. Disney's live-action rendition of The Jungle Book has a few temples... and presumably also some running. That seems to be about as much thought as was put into this rather overt rip-off. But on the plus side, Disney wants you to buy a movie ticket, so they've helpfully omitted any in-app purchases from this free game. You might say that it's been stripped down to the bare necessities. (Sorry, I'll leave now.)

It’s a jungle out there, and you have one job….RUN. Bring the thrill of Disney's new live-action film The Jungle Book to life in this fast-paced parkour style runner. Race through lush, sweeping jungles as Mowgli while dodging Shere Khan, King Louie, Kaa and other dangers. Collect honey drops, and unlock upgrades to make you run faster and go farther. Can you go the distance?

Dream League Soccer 2016

There are more than a few soccer games available on the Play Store, and some of them even have full console-style 3D graphics. So what does Dream League Soccer offer to distinguish itself, aside from a title that's pointed squarely at Americans? Well, it has licensed likenesses of real teams and players, minimal management elements, and in-app purchases. How about online multiplayer? Sorry Charlie, no sale.

Dream League Soccer 2016 is here, and it’s better than ever. Soccer as we know it has changed, and this is YOUR chance to build THE best team on the planet. PAW Patrol Pups Take Flight

PAW Patrol seems to be one of those extremely popular kid's shows that I'm completely unaware of because I don't know anyone in grade school. Perhaps that's my loss, because this game implies that said show includes adorable puppies flying in jetpacks, something that would easily garner 10 billion YouTube hits in the real world. The 3D flight is pretty simple and the other mechanics are based around shapes and numbers, so it's most definitely a kid's game. $4 with no in-app purchases - much obliged, Nickelodeon.

Kids take to the sky with the PAW Patrol pups in a fun flying game featuring the Air Patroller and the team’s new flight suits. The PAW Patrol: Pups Take Flight app teaches children pre-k math skills with the help of their PAWsome pup heroes from the Nick Jr. TV show. All the game controls are made just for kids, so your preschooler can take off right away.

• Fly the skies with 6 pups in 3 different locations

• Avoid obstacles, collect pup treats and unlock fun flying tricks

• Develop counting and shape recognition skills

• Earn special badges

White Day Lite

We covered White Day, an Android port of an older survival horror game based on the titular Asian holiday, a while back. This "lite" version of the game includes the first few levels for free, after which you're gently prodded to buy the full version.

White Day offers state-of-the-art 3D graphics, solid storyline, and deep immersion, packed into an excellent horror game. White Day is a remake of the PC version of the same name released in 2001. The original game gained much popularity in South Korea and is still fondly remembered by fans. It also gained a cult-like following in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
