We're big fans of cross-device sync here at Android Police. Therefore, we're of the opinion that if you haven't yet heard of joaomgcd's latest app, you're missing out. Join is a bit like Pushbullet, in that it can do Android-to-desktop notifications, desktop SMS, and a cross-device clipboard. But it can do a lot more; for example, you can set your Android wallpaper through Chrome simply by right-clicking on an image of your choice and selecting "Set image as wallpaper."

Join has a fully-featured, ad-supported trial period of 30 days, costing $4.99 if you want to keep using it, although it's currently down to $3.99 for a limited time. This is a one time payment, with no subscription fees like certain other apps have recently introduced. However, we've got 50 codes to give out to readers, which in our books is a pretty great deal.

Other things Join can do include the ability to send files across to different devices, make a device ring when you can't find it, or locate said device if you still can't hear it. You can also connect Join up to Tasker, offering a near-impossible number of capabilities. On top of all this, you can link it up to IFTTT and create recipes so the app can communicate with other services.

In short: this app is powerful. There's currently a Chrome extension, a Windows 10 app, and a limited web interface available for use. A Firefox extension is coming, but João says he's having issues sending push messages to the extension, which is a crucial part of the service.

So how do you get in on this great opportunity? Simply comment below with why you want or need this app in your life.  As with the other app giveaways, any comment that has nothing to do with the topic will be disqualified.

The giveaway will run through the weekend, ending on Monday March 21 at 11:59 PM PT. Soon after the competition closes, the winners will be selected and codes sent out.

Good luck!
