Samsung has no problem with bribing enticing people to use Samsung Pay. Every few months or so, the smartphone maker offers a different incentive to start making mobile payments.

This time around, Samsung's deal is coinciding with the day US carriers announced they would start shipping the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. The manufacturer is giving out a $30 gift card to anyone who activates and successfully completes a purchase from either device.

The reward comes in the form of one of five cards: Best Buy, eBay, Nike, Regal Cinema, or Whole Foods. You can choose which one you get. Regal Cinema will obviously limit you to movies, while Best Buy will let you have your share of microSD cards and other electronic goodies. eBay is the one option that will let you buy just about anything. With $30 to spend at Whole Foods, you might be able to get one, maybe two entire pieces of food.

The deal is active from today until the end of the month. For some reason, purchases made with private label (PLCC) or Bank of America debit cards are not eligible. You can find more details in the Terms and Conditions below.
