Today's question could be a contentious one, or it might not - I'm genuinely unsure. I know that for many people, headphone jack placement on a smartphone can be a point of consternation when it's anything but <insert your preference here.> As someone who reviews smartphones, I deal with all kinds of headphone jack placements. Well, when I say "all kinds," I mean basically five: top left, top middle, top right, bottom left, and bottom right.

I find no particular position objectionable - I've yet to find a smartphone with a bottom-middle headphone jack - and tend to get to used to them pretty quickly. But I don't walk around with my phone in my pocket while wearing wired headphones too often these days, so I'm not really a likely person to have an opinion in the first place on such a thing.

So, how about you? And, more importantly, why?
