The Honor 5X is already a pretty fantastic deal at $200 for an unlocked phone (even if David's review was more or less "you get what you pay for"). But if you're looking to sweeten the deal even further, online retailer Newegg is offering an additional via a store gift card with the purchase of the phone. The offer is available for a limited time, but it's valid on all three colors (black, white, gold) and combines with free shipping.

The gift card is added to your cart at the same time as the phone, and users can use the code themselves or give it away (if you have a friend who likes to build PCs, it would make a nice gift). For a quick refresh: the Honor 5X uses a fetching metal body with a fingerprint sensor, a dual-SIM design with the usual international GSM bands (and it works with T-Mobile LTE as well), and a 1080p 5.5-inch screen. The rest of the specs are somewhat mid-range, with a Snapdragon 616 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage plus a MicroSD card slot, and a 13MP rear camera, though the battery is quite generous at 3000mAh. It runs Android 5.1.1.

There's no indication of when the free gift card will become unavailable, but given the low unlocked price for this phone, it's unlikely to be discounted any time soon. I'd get an order in soon if you want it.
