The Asus ZenPad S is a nice little tablet with a great 4:3 display. It launched at the downright reasonable price of $299 for the premium version and 199 for the lower-specced one. After dropping $30 from the price last week, Amazon is now selling the ZenPads for $40-50 off. There are a few differences between the two versions of the ZenPad S. The more expensive tablet is the one I had for review a while back. It has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a USB Type-C connector, and a quad-core Intel Atom Z3580. The less expensive version lacks the Type-C port and has just 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a slower Atom Z3530 quad-core chip.2015-12-17 15_43_57-Amazon.com _ ASUS ZenPad S 8 Z580CA-C1-BK 8_ 64 GB Tablet _ Computers & AccessorThe premium ZenPad S is now going for $249 ($50 off) and the other one is $159 ($40 off). They both have the same great 8-inch 2048x1536 LCD, and the design is very light and comfortable to hold.
