One of a smartphone's core functions is to contact your contacts, so you probably have a bunch of them. Some, maybe even most, folks would consider the default contacts app on their phone sufficient, but Microsoft is working on a piece of software for people who would say otherwise.

Connections is an app that finds and organizes information about your friends, family members, and work acquaintances in a way that saves you from digging around. It surfaces notes, reminders, and other relevant details.

The app looks like it has potential. For now, it's only in India. We'll have to wait and see if Microsoft expands availability down the road. Until then, it will show up for the rest of us as incompatible with our devices.
