Inbox by Gmail likes to group mail together. That's much of what makes the app special. Instead of weaving through an endless sea of messages, you just dive into various groups called bundles.
Trip bundles take all of the mail from a single trip and sort them together. Google also mines the contents of these messages to show you an agenda card that consolidates key information into a single place.
Now Google is introducing the option to share these trip bundles. Just tap the icon that appears on the agenda card.
While you're at it, Google will now let you add mail to trip bundles using the Move to... option you would use for other bundles.
The latest update also makes attaching photos an easier process. In the blog post detailing these changes, Google shows how when you click on the paper clip, you will see recent photos appear at the bottom.
The Inbox by Gmail Play Store page doesn't yet make any mention of these changes. Whether they're server-side or not, you're probably going to want the latest release, version 1.16. You can grab it from APK Mirror below.
And here's the changelog.
- Trip Bundles: Share a summary of your trip in one tap, add emails to a trip, and view trip details offline.
- Attachments: Access your recent photos quickly and select multiple photos at once.
- Bug fixes and performance improvements.
