For the holidays, T-Mobile wants you to switch from whichever other carrier you're relying on these days. Over the next few weeks it will roll out a different deal aimed at enticing people over, and it's starting with Sprint.

T-Mobile will give Sprint customers $200 for each line to switch over, and no trade-in is required. New converts will see the money pop up as a credit on their bill. This money is in addition to the $650 T-Mobile is willing to pay per line to cover Sprint's fees for ending a contract and paying off a device.

T-Mobile isn't putting a limit on lines, so a family of six can qualify for $1200 in credit. Small businesses can get in the tens of thousands. The deal applies to postpaid and prepaid Sprint customers alike, including those on Boost and Virgin.

This time around, we're not seeing much of a catch, unlike with the recently announced three months of free unlimited LTE. T-Mobile's prices are comparable to Sprint's after you make the switch, so if its network is viable in your area, now may be a good time to drop by a T-Mobile store.
