An over-the-air update is currently rolling out to the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X. The update number, version 2.1.2, is the same for both handsets, but the changelog is not.

For the OnePlus 2, we see an improved preview interface for the camera, performance improvements when installing apps, individual icon customization support, RAW-related fixes, and a few other enhancements.

What's new for the OnePlus 2:

  • Improved UX for preview in Camera
  • Performance improvements on app install and launch
  • Individual icon customization support
  • Fixes for RAW format on 3rd party camera apps
  • Russian & Turkish language support
  • Lockscreen wallpaper support
  • Security patches
  • Bug fixes to System Update to improve OTA stability
  • General bug fixes and performance improvements

Folks who already have a OnePlus X should look out for HDR mode color offset improvements, system optimizations when the phone is in a low battery state, and a splattering of general bug fixes.

  • UX bug fixes in the Camera app
  • Improvement to color offset in HDR mode
  • Bug fixes to System Update to improve OTA stability

These are incremental rollouts, so several days may go by before you see the notification pop up on your device.
