The Galaxy S5 Active doesn't move around more often than a regular S5, but it might hold up better if you're the kind of person that does. Its rugged frame resembles a phone with a built-in Otterbox case. Customers who bought one from AT&T are now receiving an over-the-air update to the latest version of Lollipop.
The update bumps devices up to build number LMY47X.G870AUCU2COJ3. The download is 640MB, so you're going to want a Wi-Fi connection. Then you can leave 5.0 behind and say hello to the bugfixes introduced by 5.1.1. This update also equips the Galaxy S5 Active with Android for Work.
What's New:
- Upgrade to Android 5.1.1
- Android for Work
- Security updates
- Fix to Ultra Power Saver mode for devices using On Device Encryption
