Since arriving on Android the HERE app has been a solid alternative to Google Maps. Each update brings something new, and as usual, beta users get the goods first. Today's new feature is the ability to share your route with other people.

When viewing the detailed overview of your trip, a share button at the bottom will let you shoot this information over to someone else. This way they don't have to guess which way you're going or how long it should take. Alternatively, you can blast it out to a social network and show the world where you've been.

HERE will translate the instructions into plain text. Recipients can tap the link at the end to pull up the trip inside the HERE app or at here.com.

The feature is still making its way out to beta users, but if you haven't yet signed up, that would be a good place to start.
