Earlier today, Acer announced a bunch of stuff, including a new gaming tablet called Predator 8. Well, it turns out that it wasn't finished with the mobile gaming stuff, because it also showed off the Predator 6 - a freakin' gaming phone.
I knew eventually I'd have to say those two words right next to each other. I just knew it.
Anyway, yeah. Like its larger brother, it's got quad front speakers, virtual surround sound, and controller-like haptic feedback. Other details are pretty scarce at the moment, but we do know it has 4GB of RAM, a 6-inch display (as its name suggests), and an unnamed deca-core Mediatek processor (most likely a Helio).
Unfortunately, there's no pricing or availability info just yet...but for the first time, I'm actually hoping an Acer phone makes its way to the US - even if it's just for my own curiosity.
