Your phone and the services connected to it know a lot about you (creepy, right?), and Bento Launcher is designed to use that data in order to bring relevant information to your home screen. Bento is entering a new phase today, starting with a name change. It's called Scout Launcher, and it's now available to everyone.

Scout Launcher works with services like Sound Cloud, Uber, YouTube, and Reddit to deliver potentially interesting content right to the home screen. It also has contextually organised apps and important notifications there as well. It's the sort of thing that could be very useful if it works perfectly. As for whether or not it does, well... it's still a free beta. Give it time.

Scout was only available as a Play Store beta when it was called Bento, but now the listing is live for everyone. Feel free to download it and take it for a spin. You can also check out our hands-on with Bento from a few months ago, most of which is still valid.
