Red Bull Alert | Alarm clock

This is an alarm clock that's made by Red Bull. Why would Red Bull make an alarm clock? Apparently because someone thought they needed to motivate you to wake up. That said, the app is surprisingly competent: in addition to a Material Design interface, it wakes you up with photos and sounds from various extreme sports. The app also tracks how long it takes you to wake up, so you can see how much it's helping you. Or not, depending on how much you really wanted to sleep.

Kono.ai - Mobile Scheduler

There is a learning element to your behavior, but it seems like you'd have to use the app an awful lot to see the benefit.

Say goodbye to the headache that is scheduling. Kono is the world’s best virtual assistant that schedules your meetings for you. Whether it’s a conference call, lunch, or just hanging out, Kono’s got you covered. Do you find yourself spending a lot of time setting up meetings? Melanoma or skin cancer symptoms can be hard to detect. Our unique algorithm can indicate risk based on photos you take with the app so that you can monitor your skin health, simply from your smartphone.

WTF App(s) Of The Week

HowHigh: Track Marijuana Usage

Android Police coverage: HowHigh Is Like Foursquare For Stoners, Complete With A "Buzzed" Badge And "Vouching" For Your Weed Buds

How High is basically Foursquare for weed. Open the app to tell the world exactly how high you're getting and where you're toking up. Then run like hell, you idiot, because you just told the cops and the criminals where to find you.

By using our app to check in whenever you consume marijuana, you can: keep track of your dosage and share how you’re feeling. This is useful for when you are trying out new strains and methods of ingestion to determine which best suits your tastes. With HowHigh you can see what everyone else is consuming, too – your friends (“Buds”), people in your area, or even globally. Discover and learn about strains, how they’re being consumed (vape, edibles, smoking, etc.), see pictures, and comment on check-ins. If you’re consuming with a friend, you can vouch for them.
