You've heard of Borderlands because of the original multiplayer-centric first-person shooter that appeared on consoles and the PC. But there's a decent chance that the reason you're thinking about it now is the result of TellTale's point-and-click adventure game 'Tales from the Borderlands' (and no, not just because you're reading this article). This title has simply been a rejuvenating way to dive back into the cel-shaded world, and now that episode three is available, players have another reason to return.

Episode one came in December, with number two following in March. The latest installment places Rhys and Fiona in the jungles of a terraforming facility as they continue their quest to find a lucrative Vault. TellTale recommends that you play through the full game twice thanks to this episode, and it's not just because the team is proud of its work. You will have a different experience depending on which character you trusted at the end of the episode two.

Tales from the Borderlands costs $5, with each additional episode tallying another $5. Alternatively, you can save some money and buy episodes 2-5 altogether for $15. The Android version doesn't differ all that much from what you see on consoles, so it's best to get your hands on a high-powered device before getting started. Something running a Snapdragon 800 or Tegra 4 should do the trick.
