AT&T has announced an update for its version of the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 that will deliver the sweetness known as Android Lollipop. For users who have been waiting since last year's Google I/O to receive the goods, this has been quite the wait. It may have felt even longer considering the Wi-Fi version of the tablet received Android 5.0.2 back in March.

If the changes aren't immediately clear, you know you're running the latest version when your device says it's on software version T807AUCU1BOD4. The download comes down at 1147MB, and Wi-Fi is required.

What's New:

  • Android 5.0.2 Operating System update which includes Lollipop 5.0 and the additional enhancements:
    • "Quick Settings" updated
    • Additional animations to the 5.0 update
    • Improved notifications:
    • Device Protection: More protection for lost/stolen devices. Lost or stolen device will remain locked until user signs in with their Google account - even if someone erases the device using the factory data reset option in settings.
