Earlier this month, a tweet from T-Mobile's official Twitter account said that the Sony Xperia Z3 was no longer available from the carrier, and the phone was nowhere to be found on its website. Instead, searches redirected to refurbished Sony devices. This news came less than half a year after the phone's October release.

As it turns out, the representative managing the account may have been going off the same information available to consumers, that the phone was not listed on the website at the time. Because the phone has since returned.

That said, the Xperia Z3 is back at a discounted price, and it's only offered in black. T-Mobile is listing it at $499.92, down from $630. That amounts to twenty-four payments of $20.83, if you rather go that route. You might want to jump on it, just in case the device really is on closeout and won't stick around for long.
