Google hasn't updated Chrome Remote Desktop on Android for a while, but today it's jumping from v39 to v43 to match the latest Chrome release. The good news is the app no longer looks like a relic from the holo age, but I'm not seeing any feature additions as of yet.

Left: Old, Right: New

You can see the old vs. new UI above. The updated version has a much more modern UI with more light colors and no holo-style gradient. The action bar when controlling a computer is also done in the same style. The icon is different as well—it's white instead of blue. There's a slide-out nav drawer in the app, but there's not much there right now.

You can grab the APK for the new Chrome Remote Desktop app from APK Mirror, or just wait for it to show up in the Play Store. Let us know if you notice any differences in functionality.
